In 2019, the family business KTC d.d. opened another shopping centre in the town of Vrbovec in Croatia.
For the flat roof system this project, the architects used the AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Rooftop as a cover board to add strength to the wider building.

    This is how Knauf Aquapanel sells every other foam core backer board. It falls apart is heavy you spend more time preping than tiling and if you don't use load washers on todays shit timber studs it pulls through. All the perfect animated 'just like this' twinkly music videos are misleading. The reality is a gargantuan pain in the arse!

    I am using this to cover the entire bathroom floor but as I am not tiling under the bath, do I need to seal the top of the 6mm Aquapanel that is exposed. This exposed area under the bath is about 2 sq metres. Thanks.

    Option two seems to offer a much stronger/more waterproof joint, but the cost of the filler is astronomical and would add about 80% of the overall cost. The other problem is that I am struggling to find anywhere that sells the filler locally. I am looking to use this product in a shower cubicle. Anybody got any ideas?

      @@KnaufAQUAPANEL On Croatian market there is no such board as Floor Tile underlay. There are Aquapenel Cement Board Indoor (12.5 mm) and Aquapanel Cement Board Universal (8 mm). I have a OSB subflooring, and I want to install tiles. Which board should I use? What is not shown in this video is the hydroisolation. Do you have any recommendations? Tnx
