Another set using the ion camera, started to get used to it before the mount snapped (my fault). As a hint, mount these on the side of your head so that when you get on the lifts the bar doesn't constantly hit the camera!

everywhere you go is a victim of smart phone social media hype ...people crowd like crazed ants to places that used to be only for the intrepid who kept things for themselves. Scotland has been trampled to death for other people to make some money. Quiet pistes for the better skiers are now crawled down by novices who must be scared shitless they havent aquired the skills yet . Monte Rosa has loads of easy pistes and intermediate pistes leave off the few downhill runs for folk who want to ski it without stopping. Thats what they were designed for not sliding down in fear on yer bum.
never seen such a congested mess there. my favourite piste and I think it is a black piste the top section is very steep and it is basically a downhill course what on earth are beginners doing messing it up even for good skiers if there is an icy year with poor snow the first bit is just blue ice. never seen a mogul field what a mess. Used to be lovely when quiet you could get up to 60mph beginners should be prohibited as you dont get a chance of a decent downhill with piste blockers at the bottom can be fatal. Carving skis are to blame shit skiers get everywhere. Miss my Valle d'Aosta !
Lol, never fails to amaze me even now the mess that day. It wasn't that ice from memory, actually more tons of snow and people couldn't handle it.

Which run was that and why on earth was it so crowded? I'm heading to Champoluc in 3 weeks and was expecting empty pistes!
I think (can't be absolutely sure) it was called C6 - Sarezza-Contenery. Why so crowded, I'm really not that sure! It was just after the lifts around the corner, there had been a big group of beginners which just got everything bunched up, after that it was completely clear. It was also a busy week over New Year.
@@GuyRatcliffe because that particular section is both very steep and narrow, so people naturally slow down / stop and take their time. Some even freeze. Its now been classified as a black run for the ski season 22/23.
One of my first video's with the ion camera, this one is a blast down the slopes just enjoying the run.
