Nice so how much did u get one for from the action
Really? In what universe can you expect such a small machine to do better?
You should watch the video where I put counter weights on it. It was only a physics problem.
great job
Thank you!
Good job should really help.
Nice video, makes me wonder though. Do you think a ripper instead of the bucket would do better cutting the roots? Maybee it would be faster?
I think that may be a good tool to have in rocky soil. With the sand at my house I think the trenching bucket works fine. I would like to see how a ripper does so I may find one to try just for fun.
Can you share where and you purchased this?
I bought the machine at an auction and the counterweights off Facebook marketplace.
@@96marrufo okay thank you.
5% lidocaine cream placed on a burn or an insect sting will take the pain away in seconds. We use it all the time. You can pick up a tube or jar your local drugstore, over the counter.
Thank you, I will find some to keep on hand.
A powerful magnet in a plastic bag placed near the cut will collect all of the steel chips. Then you just hold the plastic bag over the trash and pull out the magnet the chips will fall off and you won't have any chips left on the magnet.
You are setting yourself up for skin cancer, you need to cover up. That UV radiation from a welding Arc is powerful.
Great video. I'm planning on making a hitch mount for mine soon. I love that you made your auger mount work with the receiver. Don't call the cops when I steal that idea. 😂
Don’t turn me in, I stole the idea too!
Nice work. Those counterweights are massive. How much weight did they add?
Thank you. They are 110kg each.
Awesome idea! And well done!!!!
Thank you!
How much weight do you think this little machine can lift, I'm looking into getting one to help me pull engines 600-800 pounds and do a little yard work. do you think with the Counterweights it could handle it?
It’s definitely got more power than you think, it just needs some extra mass near the back.
I was planning to fabricate a hitch plate for my mini skid steer until I found them on eBay for $125. They were even powder coated. With all the scrap steel I have stocked piled, my time was worth more than $125 (at my age, I’m living on borrowed time). I also found the plain mounting plates for $80 that are made in the USA. Bought a couple for future projects like fabricating a land leveler and adding my hydraulic wood chipper to the skid steer. Overall, you made a good video.
I can definitely agree that buying the hitch attachment is a much better option considering how long this took me. I didn’t buy it because I was doing two things I enjoyed at the same time, Recording with the camera and working with my hands. The time spent building it was worth it to me for the “fun” aspect. Thank you for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Next video I build my first cedar fence!
what size is the hose
About 25ft long. Not sure what the diameter is.
What size fittings does it take?
I believe it’s standard fittings, went to home depot and bought a quick connect kit for it
How much for the skid?
Wow, cool! nice job.
Thank you!
Hi When you are welding do you disconnect a battery cable from one of the skid steer terminals?
I don’t. You do it at your own risk though.
Good Morning! Where did you get the fork setup for your machpro skid steer? Thanks
Got these off FB. They are from Titan Attachments, but they are really heavy and I only use them on 30-40ft pipe since they can spread really wide. If you don’t need to move long pieces of material I would recommend the smaller wolverine forks that are at the auctions.
Nice work
Thanks!
Good job! That sandy soil helped a lot. Wouldn't be as easy with my hard clay soil!
Yes sir, digging is about the only good thing my sandy soil is good for!
I bought one of these at Costco last year for $399... I had hard time starting it. I returned it a year later today. Costco gave me my money back. this is a newer model and I don't know if I should buy it? It says easy start.
Cleaning the carb and fresh fuel is usually the solution to having an easy starting single cylinder engine.
Raise the pressure on your 2 pressure relief valves to say 2900 PSI. Makes big difference!
What are they normally set to?
How do you do that?
Been trying to pick one up for 5 months
Are you in the Denver area?
Hi, Why didn't you just pick the weights up? Heck, I used to do three sets of ten reps each with 275 pounds. Shalom/gw
@@googleboy7 there’s no need for me to lift the weights when I have tools that can do it for me.
Great video, I hope everything goes well for you. Nice looking machines !!
They’re great!
Looks great!!
Thanks!
Nice upgrade! Thanks for posting 👍
Thanks Mike! I watch your videos!
Keep them coming 💯👊💯
Hows it holding up now? Was thinking of getting this machine to start up a mobile rig.
Honestly, I would not buy this machine again. Haven’t used it much it’s at 27hrs. I would recommend you spend the extra money on a miller or Lincoln. Or buy the older Hobart model with the Kohler engine. Only reason I say this is because I have noticed when I go to strike an arc sometimes it doesn’t idle up and the arc gets cutoff, then the machine will idle up and you can start welding again. It’s just too new to be doing something dumb like that.
Lol that’s not a house that’s a single wide
You are correct, either way, it is home to me.
Why would you feel compelled to try and belittle someone else's home? He's taking care of what he has and is obviously proud of it (just as he should be). Try not being a jerk a little more often.
@@jeffconquest3350 clearly there’s a difference between a single wide trailer and a house either one can be a home but only one is a house, sir
pretty nice you made a safer drivers compartment to protect you if you back up into something. I would recommend using some closed cell foam for padding on the weights on the inside.
Had not thought of that. I will consider that depending on how often I come into contact with the weights. Thanks!
Nice work. That amount of weight should make a big difference. Time to move more pipes and see how it does. Bummer about your glasses.
Oh for sure made a big difference! I might be pushing the limit of the machine but I’ll do my best to not abuse it. Glasses are still going good just a bit scratched.
What pallet forks set up are you running? I'm thinking about making some, but I'd rather buy them if the price is right.
They are wolverine forks, I got them at the auction for about $800 dollars after fees and taxes.
@@96marrufo Thank you.
Counter weights?
That is my next project
What kind of camera do you use by the way ?
DJI osmo pocket 3
One bidding tip I suggest is the entry point and bid increments. When it was 3250 on 2nd unit , a bid of 3500 may have taken it since 3250 took the first one. Waiting for the 3500 bid and then bidding 3750 may have cost ya another 300 with fees. I always try to bid first rather than later since they add time anyways.
American attachment and small equipment companies should be very worried. I go to Richie Bros auctions all the time and the amount of these machines are literally oversaturating the market. If you do a search by auction results its really hard to believe how many have been bought, all new. Consolidators buy cargo containers full of them and have major auctionhouses like Ritchie Bros blow them out. In a couple years these will be selling for a third of the price.
Beats doing it by hand
Absolutely!
Junk! Ive been dealing with chinese built equipment for 9 years. That is a cheap knock off chinese engine on that unit. YOu can hear the engine bogging down big time during normal operation. look at how you put the gas into the machine. There is no fuel cap? on the exterior that is easy to access?
I’ve been very happy with the knock off 420cc engines. It’s got plenty of power for the size of the machine and It’s actually given me less trouble than some B&S engines. The fuel fill is not handy but I have a fuel caddy with a pump so filling up is really easy for me. For the amount of work it has saved my back I have no complaints.
I'll take functional junk for $4000 over premium junk for $50,000 every day of the week lol.
Really picks up a minute in. Great production my guy!
Look at upgrading the shaft of the motor to their "one" shaft they are prone to stripping sprockets and leaving you stranded!
Thanks for the heads up!
Let's go great video bro💯👊
Appreciate it!
LMAO brother. The rearview shots of the jumps were wicked! Good video!
The wife and I had ebikes while camping. The speeds and torque of these things is surprising. Good video.
Love watching the skid at work. Good job brother.
Thanks 👍
I just got a mini skid from auction too. I'm on 1 acre and can't justify a high-end skid. Looks like yours is already paying for itself. Nice work. The asphalt looks great.
Thank you, totally agree! This skid will serve me well for my 1 acre lot too!
