Every so often, a sleepy basset will have acquired some stored-up energy . . . and then they get rambunctious, and want to play. You can tell by the wagging tail that his growl isn't him being angry -- unless he's angry you're not participating in the play-time. Do you ever do tug-of-war with Otis, like with an old towel or something? I think they really love that, as if they have past-life memories of being hunters going after small burrowing animals, back in Cave-Man and cave-Basset days of yore . . .

This randomly came up on my recommended, and I was all like "awww, thats cute'. Then I looked at the upload date and realized that that dog has to be dead by now. Now I'm sad.
