SolidWorks - Why we should use Hole Wizards?
Hi! When I go to results I can only click the report generator, the rest are in grey color, can't click. what does it mean
Hello Sir, What a great video! it helped a lot, but a simply inquiry regarding the inlet and outlet of the pipe. I did not understand the boundary condition how you put Pressure at output ? and why arrow directions are not like in and out it is like both coming in 1 point. I hope if Sir can explain this. Thank you !
Thank you very much for this videos👌
Hi love the vid! is there any specific file type that I need to import?
hello. I get the message: Surface error. Do you know the reason? I EXPORTED THE MODEL FROM SKETCHUP. AND TWO OTHERS I HAVE TRIED WORKED WELL. BUT THESE NEW GEOMETRIES DON'T WORK FOR ME.
What's the name of the program for the simulation you use. Thank you
thank you so much
Hello, great video!!! Could you please tell me how can i change the angle of attack ?
Lmao nub. That is a non-inverting opamp. xD
hi can i pay you to do an assignment?
Industrial Project ?
@@ir.ts.dr.alexanderchee3059 More of a small assignment, it is to show airflow in a cleanbooth and fanfilterunit
I really found this useful
Thanks
Very helpful. How can I simulate an airlock in a water pipe flow?
If you need some help, can email me for further discussion
I'm going to assume this tutorial was recorded from inside the back of a bus
Hi. So I'm working on using CFD for measuring lift and drag of an airfoil. However I couldn't figure out how to make the box around the foil for the external flow. I'm new to this software and really need help ASAP. Thanks
You can try to other video of the External Flow series in my channel, there is a demonstration how to do the setting
Thankyou for the lesson🙏
hi there, what software did you use for the model of the aerofoil as I need something the exact same for my final year project, also do you have a tutorial on how to do it? thanks a lot
Thank you for the tutorials
thank you internet sensei
Hi Mr Chee.Would you mind helping me in cfd simulation for a rotary stainless steel drum filled 30% of internal volume by water at the bottom and coverd by molten sulfur at external surface to be cooled by inner water(solidification)?
Thanks, this is extremely helpful. Can you please talk more about the mesh generation ?
Thanks alot mahn
Thanks for this useful tutorial . I would like to know the temperature transfert if the pipe will heated gradually to for example from 0 to 65degree max, and we will run cold water in the pipe, How we can setup the boundary conditions and the initial conditions?. Thank you a lot in advance, i hope that you could help with this.
this is non inverting
Being someone who is on the hunt for cfd tutorials, you are the one person i found who explained the void fill concept. I always felt that its the geometry that way, because no one really specified it. Thank you
WTF ??? 100 m3 per second ? :D You are crazy :D :D :D
Hi. Does autodesk provide tutorial for flow simulation? I really want to learn about it. I ever used Ansys Fluent but it takes ages to run transient simulation. I just want to visualize my oven design with convection fan. Thanks
transient simulation may not working in Autodesk CFD, so if you are looking for transient, I will still recommend FLUENT.
Transient simulations are possible with Autodesk Cfd. See in Solver options
Sir, if from revit 2022 is can use this cfd 2019 ?
2019 version can't read file from 2022, however, backward is possible but depend on the file type.
hi you can you tell me what version haveAcuConsole & AcuFieldView?
hello , my name is asca. I am a student of mechanical engineering institute technology of sepuluh nopember. I have some problem in my simulation in rigid dynamic using ANSYS. I will contact your email. hope you can help and discuss with me about my issue. thanks..
thanks
Also in this simulator if we built inverting amplifier , and increases frequency.. its gain is not getting reduced... Please make a video so that we can plot frequency response graph
U have connected input to non-inverting terminal and calling it as a inverting opamp
True but his graphs seems to match with an inverting amp… idk if it’s the software he is using or if he did something extra but Vin =5V and Gain = -R2/R1 (inverting) Gain = 1 + R2/R1 (non inverting) Even with an AC source the equations are just going to be the same but with the change in time factored in… you can clearly see his gain is a 2 and not a 3 for non inverting. If you have an explanation as to why I’d love to hear it. I’m doing an inverting amp on Multisim for my hw. I’m using DC and AC sources however and I know what to expect since I calculated them by hand as well for when a source is on or off on the + or - side
Thanks so much! Besides, I can't recognise your accent, where are you from? Just curious
it sounds like a singaporean accent
thanks for the video keep up the work much appreciated.
you are welcome
Really helpful!!
glad to hear that
Thank you for your effort in making this video
you are welcome
Thank you sir🙂.
you are welcome
when ı press static pressure ( 02.18 ), getting red all of the plane. what can ı do
most probably you set the boundary condition incorrect in that case. Check the BC properly especially the direction of the flow
Can you know the lifting force of the wing?
you can turn your result to Pressure and observe it on the bottom surface, then use iProperties to investigate the surface area. Pressure = Force/Area, then you may have the lift force. Kind of a "manual" work
@@ir.ts.dr.alexanderchee3059 so there is no way of it calculating it for you. I have made a some what complex wing and only have rough estimates of the lift it produces. Was hoping the CFD would give more accurate results.
Amazing video thank you
hi, sir, it's a nice video for beginners. I need some help. is it possible to simulate a vertical axis wind turbine in this software?. if possible could you please help me with a small tutorial.
Exactly what I was looking for.....Very helpful.........Thanks much
Thx Alex
How I can downland and install virtual wind tunnel?
if you are student, can try to request a copy from your institute, if you are working adult, perhaps you need to direct contact HyperWorks.
@@ir.ts.dr.alexanderchee3059 thanks, I had a problem with the run of software, it say me that the solver is not support on windows, I should be run in Linux, why is the problem? It is by the version of windows?
@@byronrivera7752 I don't think so, because I was running this on my Windows laptop. Maybe you need to check with the version you download or check with Hyperwork.
Yes, the last version that ran in windows was wind tunnel 17.1. From there, the next versions run only in linux.
Nice tut....
Hello, nice video. I’m trying to do a similar analysis on an aircraft wing. I created a box using solidworks with glass material around the wing and import the Solidworks assembly into Autodesk CFD. The problem i’m having is, the puter box does not turn into transparent or become an outline when I select either of the two options. This is causing my simulation to be made only on the outer box. I trued this both as importing it as an assembly and also a step file. Any suggestions? Thanks
Thanks for watching. In your setting under Geometry Tools, have you selected "Ext Volume" instead of "Void fill"? Try to watch my tutorial video on External Flow setup.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot!
thanks a lot.. this tutorial very help me..
really helped! makes me happy see people trying to teach in english even if its hard for them!
Helped me, thanks.
