I have a hart fan (it’s a larger version than this one) for around a year-9 months and it’s very squeaky and idk how to take the front off to put oil in the bearings

I like the gen 2 the stupid cut off on gen 1 sucks, The new one does not cut off under heavy load even with the 1.5 amp hr. I would love to see 12v 1/4 impact wrench and 1/2 impact wrench in 12v line.

I know not everybody will be able to do this, but for me if it’s a tool I’ll use rarely I’m going with hyper tough. If it’s a tool, I’m going to use fairly often, I’m going with Hercules. But if it’s a tool, I need to make money with. I’m going with Milwaukee.

If u have nice cars don’t use friction ring type impact, the damn socket can fall off and become loose and hope it doesn’t hit your exterior paint

Good review, this will work good for us on our hobby farm. Yes, it's not as fast as others, but for that 4 or 5 times a year you could use the tool for a cut-off saw it'll be great. Plan to get some 3" flap wheels, main job will be sharpening grooming mower blades for our walk behind an riding mowers. Experimented with 3" flap wheel on a sander/polisher and the mower blades don't get hot with the flap wheel and kill the temper in the blade like a grinding disc does. Yeah could have used a 4 1/2 side grinder w/flap wheel but was afraid of killing the temper in the blades.

Just bought one of these. Decided to test on my tesla rear wheel lugs. Unfortunately I only have a 1/2" 21mm, so had to use a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter. It won't budge those lug nuts. A few months go I had to get a tire replaced and had the shop also rotate the tires so I really don't know yet what they torqued it to. Waiting for a 3/8" 21mm socket and will test again.

Just used the chain saw my concern is oil delivery to bar is concerning. I do not see oil or properly lubricating bar. I filled reservoir and used saw i did not see oil tank going down. I used regular chain saw oil. I have used gas chain saws and before you cut want to see oil spraying off . Thanks

Picked up the 20v Impact Driver on clearance for 18.00

Anyone saying they “should have” gone bigger that’s not the point. This compressor was made to be travelled with and that comes with compromise. It’s not supposed to be the best, it’s supposed to be mobile and get u out of a pinch which it absolutely will.

20-volt not 18-volt. All of Hart power tools are 20-volt except the few that are not. This one is 20-volt.

Hey man, great video, very informative, especially the way you took it apart. I tried to take mine apart by hand but I couldn't do it it's like thread locked together or something. Did you use tools off screen or do you have like the GI Joe Kung Fu grip?

I think the battery location is great. If you accidentally leave it outside it's far less likely for the battery contacts to get rained on.

Access port looks like factory test/calibration points. In theory, one is the temp sensor, and the other 2 adjust up/down. Unless it's complicated and uses a serial communicaition

Thanks for a great review! I have this saw and love it. I used to have a gas chain saw which was a pain to start, very heavy and unwieldy so unless you need to cut very large trees this will handle 90% of an average homeowners needs.

I find that some of the Red Chinese plastics degrade even in a garage environment. Yes, I have found this on Ryobi products. My Ryobi 40V line trimmer was nightmarish on Warranty claims and delay of use therein.

I reckon they need to recall this saw and fix the chain tensioner set up. I got the saw caught in a branch I was cutting and could never get the chain to stay back on the saw. I purchased a new chain thinking it my have stretched but same result. They have not provided enough adjustment on that cam tightener and should go back to the Allen key setup like it’s bigger brother chainsaws. Very frustrating.
