Easter the Hamster

Odd when a hamster knows when the camera is on. But this one seems to.
More Magoo's Christmas Carol
มุมมอง 35K16 ปีที่แล้ว
As requested, this is the opening song no longer shown on television broadcasts to Magoo's Christmas Carol. As with the other video sample, I suggest purchasing the full video so you can enjoy this classic in its entirety (and allow me to keep this one public!).
Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
มุมมอง 50K17 ปีที่แล้ว
This is just a snipit from the actual video. I highly recommend going out and purchasing the DVD so as to continue the tradition of Mr. Magoo at Christmas time (and to put coin into the hands on those who own the rights to the material).
When people talk about the Broadway 'pizazz' sound they're thinking of Jule Styne's music.
This is my favorite part 3:00 🔥🔥🔥
Magoo imagining his name in the papers reminds me of the arc in Calvin and Hobbes when Calvin imagines he's won the traffic safety poster contest at his school.
1:06 My family and I used to bust our guts laughing at this bit right here. Not just because of the sound of the brakes, but because of how abruptly the cars stop. There's no transition at all-they just stop dead in their tracks.
Cute

The mouth part was to make the animation process a little easier. As a kid it creeped me out.
Nice hamster
🎵 It's great to be back, back, back, back, back With the big stars on Broadway,

Mr. Magoo?
Mr. Magog?
Paul Frees using the same voice he used for the Ghost Host at Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction for the Undertaker here!
"Ahh, Magoo - you've done it again - I've brought the house down!" - and he had, too. About two years later, Jim Backus filmed the Gilligan Christmas episode, too.
I dont understand why this is not shown along with all the other Christmas shows. Its so much better than some of the other cartoons.
Mr Magoo's singing is offensive to all Mammels with ears.
I found it on archive and watched it last night
Merry Christmas 2021! 🌲🌲⛄⛄🎅🎅

But I don’t want to turn him on! 🤢😆
Was this part of Ebenezer's dream?
Yes part of a warning. If he didn't stop being awful no one would care when he died and vandals would get all his stuff
This is part of the Ghost of Christmas Futures visit
I saw this on television a while ago and the hammer blows were cut out. Great song, I've always loved the brass sections.
Love Mr. Magoo's funny little walk there!
Back, back, back, Backus!
could somebody tell me what the words are at 0:24-0:32?
He's using the words "Boffo" and "Socko" which were popular terms in the 1950's to describe hit shows on Broadway - he's just playing with the words... "Boff, boff, boff, boffo - lots of sock, sock, sock, socko".
What are the words from 0:14 to 0:20?
I think he’s saying “great to be back with the pack on top of the stack on broadway” although I don’t know for sure
Self-Correction:Correct on my last on the first actress, add Joan Gardner, and Paul Frees as both the creepy man. Les & Jack are heard elsewhere in this. "We're...rep-re-hensible."La la la laBONG la la la la la BONG Cowritten by Bob Merrill and Jule Styne (who'd, the preceding year, in 1961, wrote the Gidget goes Hawaiian theme with a fellow named Fred Karger.)
I can tell Paul Frees voiced the Undertaker. He sounds a lot like the Ghost Host from Disney's Haunted Mansion.
Probaly the ONLY INTENTIONALLY funny part of this historic special. Voices include Laura Olsher, and I BELIEVE Les Tremayne & Jack Cassidy.
I never remembered Mr. Magoo to be so tone-deaf... -_-'
Lol yeah. My parents got this on DVD years ago in some fit of nostalgia. I'd really never seen Mr. Magoo before, but I knew what his gimmick was. Anyway, I remember in my first viewing not understanding why we had to put up with his singing voice. The whole special is kind of musically painful imo.
This is my favorite part 3:00 🔥🔥🔥🔥
In the original ending to this special when Magoo comes out to take his bows after the sshow ends he starts bumbling around as usual and knocks all the scenery down while the director looks on in horror and the boy who played Tiny Tim is grinning and getting ready to laugh. Does anyone have this ending sequence?
Yes, it's on the DVD.
just the best Christmas special ever
I never knew MR.MaGoo's 1st name was 'Quincy' -- I thought I was the only person who cared about 'Magoo's Christmas Carol"...have always valued this!!! Many thanks!! ;) ` "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures" 1 Cor.15:3-4
LA BAM LA BAM LA LA LA LOL
best fucking song in the special (and it has a lot of great songs)
My mistake the short old woman looks like a leprechaun because of the hat:p
I used to love this video! I still do! The 2 old women remind me of witches, the tall guy reminds me of a vampire, and the old man looks like a pirate
The one with the hood (the charwoman) looks like a fatter version of the Witch from Disney's Snow White.
I watched this every year as a child and I'm buying the blu-ray along with all the other old classics to share with my child during Christmas. Not the new garbage they have out now a days.
This is a song that has stuck in my head all these years....
Awesome! Found something on TH-cam on Mr. Magoo (thought it was spelled another way). Only bad part about thissong is the parts where they're singing with just their mouths.
i disagree the christmas carole movie 2001 writen by Kate Winslet has jacob marly ten times as scary as this one
go go Mr Mole!
@Victoria1415X He's an undertaker. One thing he's sure of is job security. He just has sticky fingers.
What the heck is razzleberry dressing anyway?
For Momma, all my love forever.
awesome! thank you.
the guy with the top hat doesn't look so poor
can you post the opening song its good to be back on broadway
will you please pass the razzleberry dressing
