    Why in post purge fan trip I'd trips when furnace pressure become positive, ideally it should run to drive out the combustibles.Also in post purge trip do ID & fd trip on both furnaces postive & negative or only in positive.Plz explain

      This can happen at any time, if the furnace goes positive then the FD will trip and if it goes negative then the ID will trip, this trips in protection, and when the ID trips it trips the FD as well

      ​@@Powerplantgeniusalso apart from this we have two cylinder turbine HP-IP combined & LP turbine our HP exhaust temperature & CRH temperature have a difference of 70-80 degree(Ex- HP exhaust-427 degree & CRH 355 degree.Does that much difference is in your plant also or from your experience have you observed this,if yes can you tell the reason why???

      Air, water ki tulna mein ek achha conductor nahi hai. Jab air trap hoti hai, to heat transfer mein kami aati hai, jo heating surface ko overheat kar deti hai. Trapped air ek insulation layer ki tarah kaam karti hai, jo heat ko water wall tak nahi pahunchne deti. Is wajah se temperature rise hota hai.
