2024 Round 11 Moto 2 Washougal
Saturday Washougal mx, Moto 2. Switched quads, got a bad start "normal". Hurt my ankle of road jump and then my grip came off. After a dnf the first moto, second moto didn't really matter so we just cruised it in. Thanks for watching

Washougal motocross moto 1 So not sure what happened lost power and bike went into limp mode. We will get them next one.

Quadcross Nw round 10 moto 2 at Albany mx. Tried outside gate this time "like it will help lol". The connection going into the fuel pump was causing a problem. I did get lapped, so I was trying to get my lap back. Ended up 3rd overall for the weekend. Thanks for watching and we will give it everything at Washougal.

This is sunday moto 1. It rained and the track was pretty soupy outside the main line. Rode good Just need more power out of the corners. Thanks for watching and subscribe.

This is round 9, moto1, Quadcross NW. They combined the pro, pro-am, and vet pro classes. Side note I had a problem with my fuel pump plug on Friday. Thanks for all the support and please subscribe if you haven't already. more subscribes keeps me motivated to keep the channel going.

hey sir , if my idle was bad will it effect the way it fires ? , i took it to the dunes it rides awesome everything was prefect , it just wouldn't idle for like more than 5 seconds unless you keep giving it bit of gas + if you want to start it you have to give it some gas to start , its really fast no issues while running i drove it like an hour 30 minutes in the dunes , I'm just having this problem , it was parked for more than 12 years and i recently serviced it , it had so issues with the timing chain + crank bearing , when i told the mechanic about the issue here where i live he told me you should give it more time and it'll be back to normal he means that i should ride it more time , i don't know i just don't believe it
Hey thanks for checking out the channel! Do you try to turn the idle up just a little? That might help. Did they go through and clean the fuel system? So most people that work on bikes hate the Suzuki, they just don’t understand the fuel system is my guess. If you do I would clean your gas tank out to. If you get a spec of crap in the fuel they don’t like it. When they did the timing chain and all that did they. Check your valve clearance? If that’s off it can cause it not to fire right away. My guess it’s your fuel system needs cleaned out and your injector cleaned. Hopefully this helps if you need anything shoot me a message and I can try to help.👍
@@dirtchurchracing6854 ,, actually we did check the valve clearance everything was perfect + we did all fuel cleanings , but didn't replace the injector yet ,,, I will send you some pictures on Instagram the fuel filter bowl was done lol , thanks for the reply sir
I personally would get rid of the fuel filter bowl and put an inline filter on it, I would clean the injector one more time
I'm having a similar issue I just rebuilt the engine cleaned everything it would take some time to start and it wouldn't idle for a min but if I ride it runs perfect without any issues it just wouldn't idle at all like I cant keep it on neutral for a min + sometimes it stalls while down shifting , but it runs like a monster totally stock engine I'm confused :( , when I asked a mechanic he told me that's normal you need to ride it for sometime ?
If it’s not cutting out or bugging, then it’s probably not fuel. If it’s hard to start, check you valve clearance, if there in spec it should fire right up.

That's a bummer Chris. You run a quality transmission oil, right? So, how could that happen? Unless Suzuki was skimping on the heat treatment procedures. I hear that cryogenic hardening procedure works pretty good on preventing wear in dirtbike transmissions. Might be something to look into if this is an ongoing issue. Good luck.
So they make a kit that fixes the transmission issue, I need an 08 transmission, that’s what this motor is now, it was the first ride on this motor so got to work the bugs out, it has way more power than my old one.

@F5Tornado44 08 I would think, 09 are hard to find, 08 is the only transmission that can be upgraded to the 11 and 12 year, they only made 06 to 09 in the us, they made them to 12 over seas
@@dirtchurchracing6854 Really? Huh. That's interesting. Wonder why they stopped in the US. Did they make any substantial changes in over seas LTR's? I never hear anything about them. Only that all other ATV manufacturers tried to base their front ends off the geometry of the LTR front end.
@F5Tornado44 just the transmission, I believe, I haven’t really looked into it, would be cool to get ahold of one of the last years
Wow Chris! Is your motor stock? Those guys pulled you HARD on that start. You kept up with most of them, even gained some ground on them, except those guys up front. They were GONE. Good race anyway. Let's see those race results.
Ya stock motor, got 2nd in the vet pro, it’s was a mixed class pro, pro am , vet pro
@@dirtchurchracing6854 Yeah, those starts are killing you. You had #65 if you could've just got around him, but it seems that he beats you on the start just about every time, then does some good blocking. Maybe a programmer might be a good investment. Or the "Big 3", I think that's what they call it (programmer, exhaust, and intake).
I had a programmer took a crap on me, just put a new motor in for washougal. Spoiler, had a fuel problem so fighting some issues this year for sure

@@F5Tornado44 haha not this year I am missed a few rounds, and next year maybe do something different, like to try a gncc again
You were definitely faster then the rider in front of you. He just blocked you the whole time. But good racing and good job on not being overly aggressive and taking yourself out of the race.
Passing is part time of the game and I just couldn’t make it work
@@dirtchurchracing6854yeah after the second lap of being blocked I would have forced the issue! I know it’s risky but if that is the only way to pass then go with it!
@jonnyb89821 ya I wasn’t trying to run it in, but the track was slick in a few spots. Made a few mistakes in the corners, learn from your mistakes.
I used it too it left behind a lot of soap residue

Believe it or not I think the orange bottle of zep degreaser is the best... It's non corrosive if you leave it on by accident unlike purple power which turned my aluminum black on my swingarm
That stuff works good used on my motor, seems like now days if you polished any thing. All cleaners make it look like crap
Do the bikes need to be all original, or could you modify them, like maybe put a KTM 300 two-stroke engine in a Suzuki frame?
It’s got to be production based no hybrids

Have you tried the oakley torch iridium lens? Would the roll offs work well with that lense or are you better off with the clear lens? Also do the airbrakes have the wider roll offs strip or is that an older model?
I would stick with a clear leans, they make roll offs that have a wider spread of film. I only run roll offs if it’s muddy or I am trail riding. I run the 100% googles for roll offs. The one problem I have is they pinch my nose and it’s hard to breathe.
seems like every go pro race is someone in first place and boring as hell!
I wish I was in first place, that would make life way easier.

i chickened out on practice. wish i wouldn't have cuz then i would have known the where the line was on the back straight and not lost a position trying to stay out of the soup

Ya I have watched a lot of there videos and anything will take fresh mud off with a pressure washer. Glad I could save ya some $$

Your riding is getting better. You send all the jumps now. Did you get a new suspension, or are you using the same suspension.
Same setup, just got an extra day of riding in and that helped a lot.

Hey brotha my ltr 450 runs perfect for 30min then when I hit the throttle it bogs down but if I hit it slow run a bit better
Are you running a swirl fuel filter under the tank? I would clean your fuel system, that’s what it sounds like. I would also drain the gas out of your tank and make sure it’s clean. Suzuki seem to be a pain in the but if you got dirty fuel

@JoseAvila-gw5jc I personally like to get rid of those and put an inline makes them easier to work on, if you never checked it, I am sure it needs cleaned

Hole shots makes bad videos lol, I went for moto 1 on Saturday and got ran into, so I decided to just make it through with out getting bike destroyed and without crashing. Funny that’s the first weekend I didn’t have to ride 2 different bikes.

So, what's going on with your LTR's? Why are they giving you so much grief? I was actually considering some deals I was finding on some TRX's and YFZ's on Marketplace. There's not too many on LTR's. Too expensive.
I had a gas leak, no big deal. I just finished putting together an 08 ltr i got off market place. The 4 wheeler market still seems like there expensive on every brand.

2 stokes are so much easier to work on and cheaper, I am more of a 250r guy than a banshee, but a banshee motor in a ltr would be crazy
@dirtchurchracing6854 My friend had a 250r. It was very 🐌... Banshee engines need to be set up for your style of riding. Alot of bottom end snot, like mine, can be achieved !
Dude, I would find a welder and meatballs fabrication guy. Someone who can make new engine brackets. Do a hybrid in that chassis. KTM 300 or CR 500.
I looked for a cr 500 but dam they are hard to find and cost as much as a new bike, they need to change the rule so we could race hybrids. Ktm motor would be great.

@dirtchurchracing6854 it's completely junk. Cr500 's are desirable, and they don't make em anymore. Four-stroke engines they give away because nobody wants them. They are trash 🗑

dang dude if you couldve just gotten around that guy . you was faster . but it seemed like he edged you out by hp . thats my problem now . people have more hp and better suspension keeping them in front of me . its getting very frustrating being beat by money and not a better rider
Ya I just got a stock motor about 46 hp. Just got to be smart with lines choices.

My father was a mechanics for over 50 years and been working on quads and 3 wheelers since I was a kid. A lot of it was learned from me breaking stuff and being around this sport for 30+ years.

I find that four-stroke stuff so confusing. 🤷 The whole valve and cam stuff is so complicated. I tried watching some videos on it but maybe I'm just a slow learner. I don't know

I thought about a new 450 motor but to get a motor and all the fuel pumps stuff your probably in 8 grand but yes and electric start Ktm 2 stroke would be sick

Hi my ltr is throwing the same code . I just ordered a pig tail for injector connector . Did replacing your pig tail fix the problem
Yes it fixed it
Did you get a code off the light? That should tell ya kinda where to look. In my case it said injector I think and I replaced the connector and works amazing. I always keep a connector on hand it’s the same one that plugs in to the fuel pump.
@@dirtchurchracing6854 yes I did get the 3 2 code from grounding the wire I believe my injector is loosing power when I go to turn it on because when I go to start it the power commander shows power but as soon as it’s cranking my power commander shows no power or status light Has this ever happened to you ?
Might just unplug your power commander and hook it up the stock way, just had my power commander die it was working but bike was cutting out

I assume you can use the Yamaha hubs, looks like the spindle knuckle is about 140
Suzuki is the best love the turning and love the power should be more on motor in El paso but need help to start a track

Good video 👍 can you make a video talking about front suspension. Best settings for Castor, camber, toe in, and ride height?
I run stock an arms so I can’t adjust camber or any of that. The toe in you just want to make your wheels the same, but I can make a video of that. I think I have one on ride height.
@dirtchurchracing6854 The toe is easy for the most part. The other stuff is confusing. I found a tool that might help. I just need to figure out the degrees

Ya the start was a nightmare , the light thing was not good, should have been flag start on all the races
