I wonder what that popup was about. I saw Floppy got the same thing, and even saw someone else I was watching got that. I saw on steam that a few can't even play it because of crashes. I think I will pass on this, wait to see how it is when it comes out. I like watching your videos and Floppy and Biff, you guys are funny and are fun to watch. I'm really glad I found out about the 3 of you. 🙂

Hooboy, this one feels like an asset flip that's gonna get maybe 2 updates before being abandoned. I like the warship floating around though.

I've been keeping an eye on this one. I honestly think the devs should have gone with an early access period rather than patching a "full release" cos there's too much stuff that needs work or reworking. A great video as always though, Sarge! ... y'know, while I think about it, does the military in the US have like, a service to streamer/youtuber career path that it promotes? Cos I just realised that at least 1/3, if not closer to 1/2, of the people I follow on youtube are ex-military (mostly americans, but there are a couple of brits, some fellow aussies and various european vets in the mix too).

Don't use a bow. The crossbow is more dangerous and you can then connect compressed air cylinders to it to fight sharks at really great depths.

You can also take over "your" island - just like the island with Mutants. You can name the yellow indicator (made of a metal spear) e.g. BASE or HOME and you can change its color. When you swim, especially after dark, all the islands look similar. It's easy to get lost. A colored indicator with the appropriate name will help you. Sometimes even an additional wayfinder placed on the roof of your house will help you get directly to your house if it was attacked and you were far away and had to get back really quickly.

Kill some big fish (don't necessarily start with the shark). Do this either with a spear, or swim on the surface and use a bow or crossbow to shoot at the fish below the surface. You can make swimming fins from the cuts of large fish, which will make you faster in the water, and you'll also eat a lot at the same time.

House on land - risky, but possible after being really heavily fortified. It's easier to build a house on stilts without stairs, but so that you can only jump into it from a boat. In other words: you take your boat to the pier; you jump off the boat (or pedal boat) into the water (which ends your boating), then you jump on the boat to walk on it, from the boat to the pier and from the pier you enter the house. Thanks to this, the attackers cannot enter the house, and you shoot them from above and throw grenades or Molotov cocktails at them.

After the "resurrection", eat and drink something. You will regain the most reliable part of your life meter. Don't have only one bed in your base - when it is destroyed and you die, you will respawn in a random place. Build a floor and a second bed on the floor.

If you have no underbarrel item - craft one. Also with blueprints you can get some decent silencers craftable.

When you finish all missions you get a kind of "You win" splash. But then you can just keep playing

Whoa! I remember checking out your stream for this game back in the August/September period and that skill tree! That is definitely new, like something out of an ARPG looter. The nights seem a lot scarier too.

Great review xD Well, it's obvious that the devs have a lot of tweaking to do :) i tried adventure and conquer and played it without any major problems. They said somewhere that they are a small indie team, so we'll see, I've been waiting for a Robinson Crusoe game for years.

Only game devs get away with selling you a piece of something. If he was a car salesman you would get a rusty shell with half a steering wheel, no manifold or brakes and only one tire. If he was a burger shop, you would get a piece of crust a lil piece of meat and maybe a fry. If he was a Barber he would only cut 3 pieces of hair, that wouldn't be the same length. He would do these things ....and charge full price . I know this is a demo, but watch, ASAP he will try to get paid for this crap.

the story is amazing!

The locomotion system (walking, running, etc.) is a free Unreal Engine asset called UE4 ALS. I swear it's used by all UE5 asset flippers.

I had a very similar reaction to the opening dream sequence XD lol!! It was intense XD lol!!

Pretty bad that a demo of a game is far from polished. Just tells you how bad the actual game will be. Looks like this one needs to cook a few more years.
