you are right, the only problem with empire total war is that due to its engine, most of the moddability that medieval 2 total war offers (Total War Engine 2), is gone with empire total war, and makes it impossible to match. Thats why most of the modders prefer to use Medieval 2 total war, because in Empire Total War, CA made impossible to modify the map of the globe, would've been beautiful to add all the landmasses of the real world,. Now i believe that Rome Remastered is offering the best flexibility in terms of modding so most of the mods are going to be coming out for that title. This obviously doesnt mean that there have been released for med2 some if not most of the best mods ever for the franchise. I would count a couple for Rome II and Atila Total War, and for Shogun2 the best mod ever the pike and shot migration from empire to that aforementioned title.

it is if you download the version that i showcased in this video. There is a newer version that includes extra duchies in Italy but is not recommended to try (i have done that) and is not stable at all. This version however doesn't have too many factions (just the relevant ones) but you'll be able to get yourself pretty much all the way and beyond the campaign. i myself 300 plus turns in one of my runs.

As mentioned before the mod is rough very rough in the edges, it has potential but is the only and best option to deal with a global map in the Victorian era in a total war engine. Thanks for all the comments, may you have an amazing moment in this your channel, see you in the next one.

it is pretty similar as far as everyone says. The thing with this is that the developer really loves his work and is always more often than not, getting us with amazing patches and upgrades, a must for wargaming afficionados.

@@VictusChannelHistoryWargaming I've been playing it quite a bit. The manual leaves a lot to be desired, though. I have no idea how supply works so I just pop in a supply depot at times along lines of advance.

@@VictusChannelHistoryWargaming Yes, I know, but I won't play until there is a stack mechanic, then I will consider that the game really brings board war games to the PC. The editor still lacks turn settings like several turns for 1 day, there is only one turn

what is that mod about, the research mod2.0 that you are mentioning? how does it changes the game?

@@VictusChannelHistoryWargaming The mod is to give EVERY tech in the game an effect, have a look on the steam workshop mods, i like it.

i think is a good Grand Strategy Title, this one RP2. The audience for this title is scarce, happy to know you enjoy it!

glad it worked, most of the time as i said in the comments (if it doesnt work) is because the empire folder is not entirely clean, to miss something on the instructions could be also antoher reason, but this was tested by me several times and it works. Well, there's a lot of interesting new things on RP3 but it is in a very early stage, i think they need to tweak several things to get things right. For some reason the map in RP2 (for me personally) looks better, i like more contrast in the colors i believe that palette is more adequate for the modern setting. As i was saying in this moment i will say that RP2 is kind of better, but eventually with enough attention RP3 can surpass the previous iteration. In the next video i just cover a lot of the fun stuff made by the spies that work kinda like the agent sin Total War, those guys make the game so fun, the other thing and that is something that i don't know if they already fixed it, have they added United Nations on RP3 already, after the release? Have they added the UN on the release? also, in RP3 when you hover over the flags it doesn't give you the name of the flag,

@@VictusChannelHistoryWargaming nvm, the acw 3.6.2 description says: "Campaign works fine too, until the point when it can randomly crash. Why it randomly crashes nobody knows. Multiple saves can help you continue the campaign."

@@tragarts yes, i always recommend (in the case of this mod, which is very old) i always recommend saving a lot, and i mean A LOT. this is due to the age of the mod and because the mod will always stay as it is, since the mod creator no longer updates or fixes any issues. However, the mod is incredible, it is always useful to clear any file that may have been on the Empire folder and always install under a new and verified integrity new empire folder.

it is just to appreciate the "assets" that were more intended to gaze from afar. Most of the time this part of total war is simply overlooked and not the focus evidently, but nice to be aware, the "other side" of things.

Napoleon, the mod from the same creator for shogun2 is a different one. It is based on the same concept; this one is the last and the most stable version of Napoleon. One of the best mods in the pike and shot era, trust me.

Make sure there isnt any other mods installed in your directory. install the mod under a clean empire folder.

all of the titles have interesting symbols and are worth mentioning in any video. Rome 2 is a wonderful title, so there's a lot to dig from there. Thanks for watching, and comment.
