What Are You Reaping?
January 22, 2025 Prayer Meeting Bethel Memorial Baptist Church
www.bmbceaston.com Pastor Brent Robinson
Hosea 10:12
Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that He may come and rain righteousness upon you.
Sow for yourselves righteousness;
What do you expect to reap when you sow righteousness?
reap steadfast love;
How does steadfast love come from sowing righteousness?
break up your fallow ground,
What is first in sowing and reaping?
for it is the time to seek the LORD,
How does seeking the Lord clarify how we sow righteousness? Why is this important?
that He may come and rain righteousness upon you.
What does God do to provide righteousness? Why is the condition of our heart important?

Good morning
Thank you, pastor, for these encouraging, important words, as we near Christmas. His love, His mercy is astounding! You, and Nancy are in my prayers. I thank our Lord, for bring you both into my life. Merry Christmas, and many blessings!
Thank you, Joan, for all the encouragement you have brought to Nancy and I this year. As we follow our Savior, He brings such blessing!
Thank you, Pastor Robinson. Brings us to the One, who is our rock.
Thank you for your continued encouragement, and I wanted to let you know my wife had her last infusion this week. We hope you are doing well.
Thank you, pastor. A beautiful verse to point us to our wonderful Savior.
Thank you Joan! We hope you are well in health and Spirit. Nancy is doing great!
I believe there's more than one rock, but there is definitely ONLY one Rock like God.
Amen!!!
Pastor, your sermon was such a blessing. It was a joy to meet you, and Nancy, at the hospital, this week. Isn't it wonderful, how we know other Christians, even before saying hello? I am praying for you both. I know we will see each other again.
I am having some computer problems so I did not see your comment right away, but someone from church told me about it, and I shared it with my wife. I have already told many people how you were a hug from God as we went for her first chemo treatment. Your encouragement regarding the message is also much appreciated. I pray you continue to bless others with your countenance and love for the Lord. Look forward to seeing you as the Lord leads.
Thank you, for your kind words, Pastor Robinson. The Lord is so good. His timing is impeccable! I am praying for Nancy. You both lit up that waiting room. I knew at once, you were His children. I will be visiting your church. Bless you both.
Please pray for me Pastor,...I've been walking in curses
Liked the prayers esp. for the missionaries
Loved the music.

This was a great message with so much encouragement and a great reminder that whatever we're going through, God never leaves us!! Thank you!
And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Jeremiah 11:9 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. Daniel 9:11-12 Hear this word which I take up against you, a lamentation, O house of Israel. Amos 5:1 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well-favored harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and will set thee as a gazingstock. Nahum 3:4-6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. Ezekiel 5:8 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. Daniel 9:13-14 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? Exodus 32:21 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testified against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Nehemiah 9:30 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, they turn aside the poor in the gate. Amos 5:12 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord. Zechariah 1:4 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed her. Lamentations 4:6 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. Isaiah 1:4-5 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. Micah 3:8-10 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shat say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briars and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, not be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. Ezekiel 2:3-7 We have sinned, and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. Daniel 9:5 Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Amos 3:1-2 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Hosea 14:1 The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers. Zechariah 1:2 But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. Lamentations 5:22 Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly. Nehemiah 9:33
There is a God because the concept of a god could not have arisen from an evolved being unless He revealed himself to that being. If there were no flying animals , birds, insects, bats, etc there would be no word flying nor would that being wish to fly.
Why do you think there is a god, no actually the better question is how old were you when your parents convinced that their god is true for them. That same question could be asked of their parents because that is how people become convinced.
I believe that those that come to faith are drawn to Jesus by the Father through the Holy Spirit. John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day." It is true family has a strong impact on one another, but sometimes that impact actually pushes people away. God, as Creator, calls to all through creation (Psalm 19) and those that seek their Creator are drawn to the one and only risen Savior. I know many people who came to Christ, even though their parents had no faith of their own. Thank you for commenting and I pray that this promise from Jeremiah 29:13 would be true for all. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
@@bethelmemorialbaptistchurc560 You may be surprised but I have actually done the seeking you speak of and you are not correct at all sorry to tell you. "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" As a believer, in the past; There was absolutely nothing but stone-cold silence. Why then do you believe, please?
@@alicedeen720 I believe because I was told about the Savior who came to a cursed world and was mistreated and put to death, but He rose from the dead proving His power over sin and death. As one of His followers, I understand it will not be easy. In John 6:66-69, we see how some followers were walking away because Jesus teaching was hard, and Jesus asked the twelve if they wanted to go away as well, and Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” This coming Sunday, our message is "The Reality of Doubt" from Matthew 11. John the Baptist, whose purpose was to point the way to Jesus sent word from prison asking if He was the one. And Jesus answered, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” I accepted Jesus as Savior at an early age, but doubted into my teen years, but then I found Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." I realized salvation does not come by what I do, but by faith because of God's grace. Doubts will come, but Jesus continues to speak even after difficult times of silence. Thank you for replying back. Your desire for an answer is possibly a sign of the Spirit's working in you. I believe the key is to keep seeking Jesus, like John the Baptist did when he was in prison. Today, we seek Jesus through His word and Romans 10:17 says "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. " If you are wondering where to read, may I suggest the Gospel of Mark. Blessings!
@@bethelmemorialbaptistchurc560 Many thanks for your reply. I have actually read the bible fully many times. Cover to cover and am familiar with Mark. Therefore, in most of your reply where you just quote parts of the bible, there is no need for it. Just talk to me like another human. No need to tell me about something I know very well and find no use for. Most likely I know that book far better than you can guess of an atheist. Please may I ask that you honestly answer these simple questions? Do you accept that if as you say, you "accepted Jesus as Savior at an early age" then it is fair to say you were raised in a Christian home by Christian parents and or a Christian family/school/friends/community? You have probably not been around as many Christians as I have but one story is repeated over and over. They are raised Christian, grow a little and come to see the world outside of their parent's world and rebel only to then come back because of the very young indoctrination process and what that does to the developing brain. It is hard to break away and doing so means more often than not massive family upsets and sometimes shunning. Would you be honest enough to tell me what religion you would think you would be in right now if you were raised in Iraq to Muslim parents and family, please? Please feel free to ask me questions as a nonbeliever I am happy to honestly chat. Best Alice
Beautiful service, wish we could have been there
Beautiful service. Great prayer. I love the song ‘ I must tell Hell. Jesus’. This song had me weeping. I could hear my beloved father in the base. Yes. He was a brilliant preacher, school principal. He played the keyboard and sang. Would have been ninety four years old in the physical. Master Singer man in the yellow you are great. You remind me if an old man I took care of many years ago. He was ninety three when he died. The sweetest person. The kindest spurt and very quiet. I call you an angel cause I don’t know you.
Jesus you’re the center of my joy. Nice song. Jesus nay mean whatever makes you happy. Maybe a car, house or money.
Beautiful service. Love. ‘Christ The Lord is risen’ Reminds me of being in church as a child. Both my parents were Anglican priests now in Heaven I remember this singing this song so beautifully. I love Because he lives’ was my mms favorite song. Thanks for the opportunity of hearing these beautiful songs again. Thus church feels more Jewish . More mild. This is a true church. Giod bless. Oh I’m watching this on you tube.
Thank you Hillary. We were blessed in our Easter service. We seek to find the new songs that lead us in worship, but we also delight in the traditional songs of our faith. Glad it blessed you.

As a shutting I love watching the services from my Church. I pray it will continue.
Amen!! - Lord Jesus, Let love rain, like sweet mercy from heaven. Let mercy flow like waves and waves flowing richly from the heart of God. May love arise ... may mercy come forth ... may love and mercy bring forth hearts of compassion. Compassion for the lost, compassion for the thirsty, compassion for the hungry, compassion for the poor, compassion for the homeless, compassion for others. Not in just words or deeds done, but from the depths of the heart seeking to give Glory to God through open arms embracing the needs of others. May we look with the heart of God. May we see with his eyes or mercy and compassion and may we do all things to His Glory. For the river of God is love, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is sweet mercy, may it flow richly through us. For the river of God is compassion, may they see it in our eyes, hear it from our hearts and see it through open arms embracing the needs of others. ------ May we place others even before ourselves and love like Jesus.

That is so true, but praise God, He keeps us drawing us nearer!
