I don't think it's a DLC. It was released with the 1.6.0 update.

I tested it on the speed track. It's a DLC I believe.

I am asking because if i match the gearing i dont get the same kmh but if i match the kmh then the gearing is different

@@dominickleyba3229 Sorry for the late reply. If they are off by like 5, it should still work. Also, are your settings in MPH or KMH? Edit: Going to assume your settings is in kmh, since you mentioned it. I'm not 100% sure on this, but i think matching the speed matters more. The tuning really comes down to position in relation to other gears.

It would be really hard to tell you just off the top of my head. But what i used to do, was go to the performance "website" - the in game one - and then type in every single part i would need and see if they have it. I would also renew every single thing in the car. Tuning sometimes changes the numbers as well - but since i assume you are using mine it should technically be fine. Also, are you getting the same speed as me or not? Side note: If you really can't find the issue, let me know, I'll go through my car again and then make a list of what i did - and then let you know.

@@seriousgaming6571 Im unfortunately not getting the same speed because it seems this change is screwing up my max speed despite putting in the same gear ratios, making the speeds higher than this video, with 8th gear being up to 457 kmh instead. The car is not able to reach these and caps out much earlier. You think this might just be because my suspension is only around 50%? I assumed it wouldnt matter for performance but seeing that you replace everything idk now. Checked through the whole store again and really couldn't find anything I could be missing. Thanks for helping me out btw, I really appreciate it.

@@ritvikgiridharan2845 Well, this game is a little "buggy", yes the gears cap out earlier, but i can't really control that, like, the game mechanics are odd. It's just a tuning method if you will. I don't think suspension matters, well it matters with the handling of the car, but if the handling is fine, and there isn't much defiance when you drive it, it shouldn't really influence the speed. Well, if you checked the whole store, then I'll go check the car and get back to you. Edit: I just tested it, having 8th gear on 457 is really bad, you lose about 3kmh. It should be on 430 - 435 max. You should be getting 393 kmh when testing it on the speed track. Edit 2: So, I checked the car. You should have all the performance parts for the engine, the performance gearbox, performance pipes (the outlet), performance petrol "stuff". You should also have Race Tyre B, and have all of the parts mentioned at full health. Test it again, and see if anything changes.

@@seriousgaming6571 Fixing up 8th gear worked now it actually hits it. Couldnt find what was slightly reducing the numbers as I had all that but thats fine its still a very fast car. Really appreciate the advice Im happy with how its running now.

Well, i did some testing, and it seems it is important on some cars. Also on this car i used: Race Tyre B. It seems to provide the most grip. But in some cases grip doesn't even matter, the car just spins out and you have to fine tune it very precisely.

It's not really that fancy, so the way i thought of it is it's either on or off, so it can only be in one or the other state so, in this version i used a rs nor latch, but there is an even simpler way and that's just to use observers and some redstone blocks and then pistons that spit out their block for the "on" state and then retract them for the "off" state.
