Hello. I am Zeki Elban. I had total gastrectomy surgery 5 years ago due to stomach cancer. I cannot increase my muscle mass in my body because I cannot eat much meat, so can I take protein powder? Will doing this harm my liver and kidneys?

MyChart is very, very poorly designed. I no longer use it. My doctor, like all, will order a battery of tests as part of a normal checkup. So, for two dozen results , I'm supposed to click on two dozen separate links and print two dozen separate pieces of paper, each page having one result. MyChart will have us clicking dozens and dozens of times to see the results from a single blood draw. Then, have us print an entire book in order to save what could have been printed on one sheet of paper. Does this design make any sense at all to anyone? I now use another lab for my bloodwork.

when zeroing the evd the drain should be off to patient to zero then turned off to drain to measure

My daughter just had a EVD in ICU and was monitored in ICU. While in ICU, pt has a CT Scan revealing a blood clot in bifurcated vein near neck. Pt had been experiencing severe neck severe pain at base of skull, top of head, forehead and temples too. Now, residents say blood clot might be something else but still investigating. Transferred to Neuro Recovery Floor with RN care. What nursing care does PT now need?
