      Hey thanks for asking. My lip doesn’t cause me any pain at all. It’s actually a sign of the toughest time of my life so far, when I moved to Los Angeles to be with a guy and he completely emotionally rejected & abandoned me. I just kept on biting my lip and it formed a callus basically. One of these days I’ll get it removed, I’ve made peace with that time of my life. It brought me a lot of growth & deep understanding of myself. Have you had a chapter in your life like that?

      A sign of the toughest time of my life so far, when I moved to Los Angeles to be with a guy and he completely emotionally rejected & abandoned me. I just kept on biting my lip and it formed a callus basically. One of these days I’ll get it removed, I’ve made peace with that time of my life.       Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. The message is that as a highly sensitive person (HSP), we often train ourselves to become numb because the world is loud and chaotic (as well as our own emotions). However, when it comes to our bodies, numbing ourselves to the sensations that are coming up, is counterproductive. We want to learn to tune in to our bodies, so that we understand what we need to change regarding food, exercise & sleep to feel healthy, energetic & pain free.     Yes, some highly sensitives and some empaths, particularly if they haven’t done any spiritual work, if they encounter someone in a down mood, they will often take it very personal. They are just reacting/ just feeling/ so many feelings wash over them and overwhelm them that they don’t have the time to stop and think “oh this person was in a bad mood before I got here”.

      Yup. I hear you on that one. So often I get that feeling of “I just need to get out of here, move somewhere different and start all over!” In my twenties I did, now in my 40s I know this feeling well and understand that it’s just my body needing down time & clarity.
