Bonita, your story touched me very much. I lost my daughter to breast cancer in 2019 after she fought and suffered to overcome this terrible disease for over 10 years. I am so grateful for the time we had together; for the medical advances that are constantly improving cancer care; and for the doctors and nurses who treat cancer patients with so much compassion. I wish you blessings in your life and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for sharing your personal story Bonita! Wishing you all the best.
Stigma around mental health often prevents individuals from sharing their personal experiences in the workplace because they fear it could negatively impact their career path and opportunities for promotion. Thank you to Nicole for sharing her experience. Nicole is an example of a highly successfu individual who also was diagnosed with a mental illness and sought treatment for it. She is an example of millions of Canadians who have a mental illness and continue to thrive because of treatments being made available. Like any other illness, mental health does not descriminate, people of all walks of life are diagnosed with it and continue to live productive lives following treatment. More needs to be done to remove bias and barriers to employment for people who have any disability, including mental illness.
Glad you made it thru this
Great work!
An amazing bit of perspective into the crucial work our nurses do for the community. Thanks, team at GBGH, and thanks, Kevin, for helping us to see.
Thank you, Kyle!

Thank you Shelly!
I appreciate nurses as well. They have done so much for my son... in turn made me feel so much better when i had to leave some nights... I loved this Forest. Glad you are ok.
Nurses are the best! I have MS and spent a lot of time in the hospital. I am grateful for the nursing staff
In these troubling times we are all responsible for our actions. For every action there is a reaction especially not protecting our selves and others will benefit doing so especially in the medical community, when we need them the most. Keep up the terrific work to all the staff at GBGH.
I would like to say how brave Melissa is by coming forward her heartbreaking story. I hope all your family is doing well as this is not an easy situation to deal with.
Thank you for all that you do to care for those who are ill and need to be in our community hospital!
I didn't know my beautiful grandgirl have their own channel. Beautiful Nadia.
A huge thanks to Marco Mancini and his family foundation for such generous philanthropy. Your selflessness is outstanding. Yes, Georgian Bay is truly a unique area and the support of its local hospital is a very positive investment.
This is a very , very positive event for the future of our hospital. Thom Lackie
So Very Proud of our GBGH team and of our community support. As a staff who has worked over 33 years at GBGH (previously known as NSHA and HDH), this makes me so proud. Thank you
