Hi Ron, talking about your 105mm F 1.4, I think you'll achieve the same with the Samyang 135mm F 1.8 because there's more compression with the 135mm, so at the end it compensates the lack of F 1.4. Also the form factor of the 135mm is way smaller en lighter.

Every photo we got sent of our cocktail hour had either me or my brother eating somewhere in the photo. We thought we got one good picture of my hubby and his siblings, but lo and behold at the very edge of the shot you can see me with my back to the camera, elbow in the air, shoving fruit into my face. It's become a tradition to try and sneak pics of me eating at family gatherings ever since. Our photographer had no idea what an impact he'd be making 😅

You had to invest even more than you paid for the over-priced lights just to be able to shape the light! The AEOS are sold on the false premise that you don’t need soft boxes etc. Unless you are doing gel work for the majority of your shoots, you’d be better equipped and financially better off with some Godox strobes or even their LED range. Too many shills promote the lights. No one makes any content using them to any extent which suggests that only sponsored or the gullible buy the lights!

I have the DJI Om 5. Pretty much same exact thing. Tripod and extension also. Like you said fast movements are a no go. I’m wondering with a lot of people in the room would it get confused? Looks decent though 👍

Just bought this one. I really thought it was much bigger until I realized most reviewers are really short. Another thing many people don't realize is that it's not 7 feet wide, but only around 5.9 feet in diameter (approximately 180 cm).

Love it! We have a couple of photographers on our team who shoot film on wedding days (not all day of course) but they keep it with them for those moments. Great topic Ron!

I have the Sony 24mm 1.4 GM because it is the best 24mm you can get, but I do not need aperture 1.4, so I wish for a more compact 24mm with at least the same optical image quality. I do not have the Sony 35mm 1.4 GM, but I do have the Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm 2.0 Aspherical which are build like a tank it is much more compact than the Sony and the optical image quality are at least as good as the Sony !!!

Wished these mods were magnetic. Would’ve been easier in my opinion to install.

Dude, I love the concept of this! We all have our rituals and habits that most people don't think about. Sleep is so important! And I love working out too but on wedding days, I usually skip too. Great video idea!

Pro tip, mount your softbox on a light stand then put this mod on. Start at the top corners, then gravity will help when setting the bottom corners. Then got the sides, top and bottom

This was a pointless unboxing, not a review.

Have the happy couple make a list of must have family portrait shots. Like uncle Sam and Aunt Lily. Cousin Ben with Granny. Put the Mother of the Bride in charge as the person that's going to drag those people in front of your lens. She will know all of their names and faces plus; she will not and cannot be messed with on her Girl's big day... When she says come to have your picture taken, they better come... Saves you a lot of searching, chasing and begging (stressing...).

It's really nice that this comes with the grid. Can you use a rectangular speedlight like Yongnuo with this soft box? I assume you would need some sort of Bowens speed light adapter. Thanks for the video!
