You can go classic Marvel bob cut, 80s Longshot mullet, 90s Retro James Dean or Liefeld ice cream swirl. And of course Manga Anime highlight fades. Lets analyze and try it out.

    I've noticed the majority of Spider-Man poses have points of tension, where parts of his body are in a sort of wound-up configuration. The most famous examples are his trademark crouching and when yanking a webline taut while swinging.

      I think the easiest of these here in the video would be the Kirby and first Manga ones. The simpler the better. Some later artists like Jason Pearson sometimes did very basic geometric shapes, which makes it easier but still cool. Who's your go-to hair artist?

    Heh, I thought you were changing your style when you were sketching your Batman and Azeroth, but you swung back with your coloring, there’s so much of your personality with the coloring, I can tell. I also love how you really put time with getting your poses accurate and also how you always step back from your work and see what you can continue learning next. My favorite submissions are Paul (rubble KING!) and Andrew (Luke vs Spidey, so awesome!). My own I kinda wanna apologize, I was so focused on painting the orange guy I ran outta time for everything else, especially the actual rubble! I wish I had gotten that, as I was just learning about perspectives and drawing boxes and was excited about applying that, and then… whoops. Think I’ll continue with the piece, though, I’m really happy with what I have and wanna finish. I think, when I look so many yt channel with drawing content, there are just a few, which say...common guy send your pictures and I will look over, made the critic and next time you get better. Latly I had the same conversation with Thomas, another ytuber from the states, about seeing the failure. Sometimes you draw a picture, and you think its all right, an than you show it to a friend, and he mention...oh look, Nose to long, eyes not in line, body dont fit the head...and so on..This is so helpful. As a inspiring comic book artist myself (who is trying to get his black and white style graphic novel off the ground) i have trouble drawing realistic cars myself because because i am not a good artist i am trying to draw any cars i look up some images of on Google image when i was young and i had trouble drawing cars from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s like the Chevrolet Caprice The Ford Crown Victoria The Dodge Monaco (The Bluesmobile) the Pontiac cars including the Trans Am Firebird and the GTO and the Chevy Malibu from Repo Man (1984) and the Fiat 500 from Lupin III any car that i want to put in my comic but i cannot draw any better looking cars like how Akira Toriyama draw automobiles in his works including Dragon Ball but i do prefer how cars look like back in the day the coke bottle style i do prefer it beside any cars made today i do want to work with some people who know how to draw with my comic and draw better-looking vehicles beside me try to draw a Porsche 911 for my comic also we are in 2025 retro so you should do a John Hughes x 80s Anime video including you draw characters from any films that are written and directed by John Hughes and draw them in the style of 80s anime including the works of Rumiko Takahashi (Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2) you should do that this year because John Hughes will be turning 75 this year also please do that video and thank you for this video you are my hero Retro you are like me i like these things please make more like this this year have a great year with new videos also if i have any time i will make my comic and draw awesome looking cars in that comic or graphic novel what you call and please do one for bikes you should draw Pee-Wee Herman's bike from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure because i love that movie and you are my favorite TH-camr on this site please make more in 2025 you are the best to me and you like the same things i like you are my kind of guy Retro😁

      Yeah, those anime cars have a specific vibe, that Lupan III car is alive! I finally got to see Pee-Wee's big adventure when they showed it on tv a while back. I really wanted to like it because I heard so many things about it and the cameos but somehow I couldn't sit through it... sorry!!! lol The opening scene with him winning that race in his dream is great though. John Hughes movies like the Breakfast Club have a special place in my heart, so on my instagram page you can see I did multiple homage drawings to that iconic poster. I kind of want to see Some Kind of Wonderful again, I think I saw that just once about 30 years ago, and it's kind of a what-if Eric Stoltz didn't get fired from back to the Future. lol! You can always commission me if you have any super specific drawing requests like this (link in the description). Thank you for watching my videos!

    Only did sketches for this one, focused on my writing for the week. Though about my stick figures, I don’t do them at all. They’re largely pointless if you’re not aiming for a skeleton underneath. And at a certain point, it’s better to simplify your shapes into people. The fact was it’s one mistake out of a many only I could pick up on. That can be a problem with critique. We grasping at straws instead of discernible fundamentals to correct. But it was fun to do research into car magazines and draw cars in perspective. Though a grid or fish eye lens is better for that. Let me know if you have in depth critiques over mail. They’re lacking feedback that’s constructive to a piece.

    • @retrosuperheroart2202
      @retrosuperheroart2202 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, good point. There's many entries each week now, so in depth critique is difficult. I wish doing this was my day job so I could go deeper, but unfortunately I can't right now. Back when I was in university we would beg the teacher for feedback. It was almost bragging rights to have the teacher pick you out to give corrections to. I'm just a dude who likes to draw, so not comparing myself to that teacher, but I think there's still merit in somebody going over a drawing and pointing stuff out.
