I've been stretching my ears for years and it's taught me so much about my body. For example, I would use those tiny black rubber bands to hold my jewelry in place. The Problem is that I didn't realize that I was allergic to a chemical within the rubber bands, and it would effect my cartilage causing pain and irritation when I tried to go to a higher gauge. It wasn't until I stopped using those rubber bands that I was able to stretch easily and comfortably. 🐧🍎🍏💙

I don't know how to really form a comment and not attempt to make a profound but despite what is wrong or miserable about the world or things that may go on in my life or others, I enjoy being happy or silly in spite of it. This world has always been cruel and full of torment! Every era of human history has had their fair share of hardships, but the era we live in today has so much opportunity. You can walk outside and literally do anything you want. The reality of this meat existence is survival. Human beings have created a system to where we dont even have to worry ab survival anymore. Were more concerned with how we can cope with not being happy with existence. I dont understand why people cannot just realize the context of the point in human history where they we exist and be a little grateful for it. What do you want? A perfect world? A utopia? We are flawed imperfect creatures! How can an imperfect species create a perfect society? Its delusional! Just be happy with what you have and who you are. Pessimism about these things makes you feel like no action you take is even worth the energy, been there done that.

The part you said about achieving your goals and how that's not the end all be all of life reminded me of the thing Viktor Frankl created called logotherapy. Part of it is how people find meaning through personal growth. A lot of psychological therapy is about finding harmony in your life, but Frankl argues that it is healthy to have some moral strain to keep yourself in touch with humanity. Anyway, I like your advice and it feels very realistic compared to a lot of life advice on here thanks.
