Aasa
There's hope- something that keeps one alive
Then there's expectations- something that kills a soul everytime
Amusingly in Nepali, a single word, can say the both
आशा (Aasa) to hope and to expect.
Can be used the either way.
Do we hope?
Does the life goes on as you simply hope?
How much will you expect?
How much will you expect for them to expect from you?
P.s. I was adamantly hesitant to post this one.
It was a prompt idea expressed within a single tiral of melody, and a one time hold of my uku( that's what I like to call my ukulele) in a very brief amount of time. So yes we ( me and uku) made this one in a one go without giving it any another chance of review. And many attempts of trying to give it some change later in time, failed massively.
So it is raw as it can ever get.
But yes, decided to keep it here anyways.
I hope it helps one to question why is hope and expectations so close to us as we live.
And how does understanding the difference allow us to be free.
Free of what?
Well, I think we know it somewhere within us.

Is it the end? If it is, I would want to let go 3 breaths, 3 deep breaths of all that I carry The heaved breath, frozen pulse, Blury eyes, swollen foot, I want to let "me" go As this journey for the day ends, Its okay to look up at the sky And stare at my own reflection isn't it? For time is a fleeting moment And I am the pause... Silence [Cut] Scene 24/ Take- 3 The end.

For days, we have hope, For days, we give up a little too early, For days, we are tired, For days, we once again try But its all for a moment, isn't it? Who are we, if we are this transient. Who are we if we are this insignificant? ... Maybe something more than significance can ever define. ... Take me far away from here I wanna go back to where it all, began. Save me for another day, To breath...

nice lyrics
I just listened to this and absolutely love this one now. This song got me - soaring up across the horizon , the air brushing against my skin...and Zup!! i'm catapulted into the cosmos, just hovering around in the weightlessness , in the vacuity of the space , letting go of everything. This is what poetry means. Spontaneously a vivid imagery strikes the listener's mind. And interestingly, the voice always makes me feel like as if i'm in the Antarctica. I suddenly start feeling that chill in my ear and head , esp. during the falsetto. May be the synesthesia. I might not know the artist but the artistry that you brought in this song is really commendable.👏Easily 8.5/10 for me. I wish I could make something like this someday.
very nice :)
