I might do one at some point. The formula for Sierpinski is very different than these fractals I have videos for, so it will take quite a bit of tweaking to incorporate that. I like the idea though.

I'll post that. I'm just getting started with this channel.

I've got some music to go with some of them, but it's copyrighted music. I don't know what to do, I might just put them out there with a message to "play along". It's pretty neat.

Sure. Can you tell me how much math and computer science you have studied? There is a lot of calculus and complex numbers involved. To find the zoom points, one method I use is Newton's Method.

@@jamesdowner No, it's not a shader. I don't know if I'm quite ready to give up my secrets about how I do the coloring. It took me a long time to figure out.

Ok this guy is spouting some nonsense, there is no calculus involved whatsoever (there are complex numbers! As in, you need to be able to multiply or add two complex numbers together...) Programming wise it's a bit more complicated, but the idea is: for every pixel on your screen, attach a corresponding complex number. Run the Mandelbrot set iteration on it (so start with z=0, and your number c, and multiply z by itself and add c over and over again) either until the result has size > 2, or say for some fixed number of steps, eg. 200. Colour the point in by the number of steps it took to diverge, and that's your fractal. Also, this zoom level isn't even that insane - Google "Mandelbrot zoom TH-cam" and you should be able to find some that go many hundreds of times deeper
