I love to work on retro projects, repairing , upgrading , then maybe selling or putting on display ;-)
I have worked on so many old computers from the 80's , but never made a video before

Atari 2600 Asteroids with issues :)
Hi,
This is just a quick video, I got this from eBay. Listed as untested.
I was kinda looking forward to a massive fix, but ....... well you will see :)
I am not an expert (which is clearly evident) :) This is just a hobby, I like to try and fix things, and keep my mind busy.
Hope you enjoy !
Thanks

Broken solar lantern

We got this lantern a few months ago, and I wondered if water might have gotten into it. I apologize for the camera angles-I’ll improve on that in the future, as I missed quite a bit of the desoldering and resoldering process. That’s also why I sped up most of the footage. I am not an expert (which is clearly evident) :) This is just a hobby, I like to try and fix things, and keep my mind busy....

Hi, as explained in the video, this took a while as I was waiting on various parts from Aliexpress and so on. It took approx 3 weeks in the end. I am not an expert (which is clearly evident) :) This is just a hobby, I like to try and fix things, and keep my mind busy. Hope you enjoy ! Trying to fix my Google pixel6a digitizer
มุมมอง 53หลายเดือนก่อน
Whilst filming my new Atari 2600 video, I managed to drop my Google Pixel 6a onto a solid tiled floor. Subsequently the front of phone wasn't responding to any touch controls, the only thing working was the side buttons. Next time I will make sure I film things ' not working ' but trust me, it was poorly. There is no way I would have even thought about opening my phone up :)

I spent more or less all of summer on this, I was just doing something in between work to keep me sane. It's all complete now, apart from that front panel of the screen which I couldn't find anywhere. Sadly , after I put it all together the floppy drive stopped working properly, it has become very intermitent. Anyway, Thank you ( The Future Was 8 Bit ) for the power switch, i'm so glad they wer...
I had that when I was a kid. The first game I bought. I now recently bought a game stick, and it has Atari asteroids on it.
Gotta love a bit of nostalgia, thanks for watching. :)
