Me again. Another thing that is striking. The Telegraph Quartet is very animated in their performance. They are convinced they are playing great music and their animation movements help convince me its great music. They are really together in their playing and intonation is spot on. They are acpleasure to lusten yo and watch as well. And actually, this really is a good string quartet by Leon Kirchner. I like it.

Leon Kirshner first string quartet. Experimental in sounds but accessable at the same time. I listen with fascination. These performers play it great snd excellent sound quality. Definitely has a forward driving rhythm and energy.

I just realized that Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven's final string quartets are all in F major.

Webern.....The Master......others have written music such as this but fail to capture the sensitivity, purity, and power that he projects.

I have been waiting for a new take on this quartet, and you play it faster than the Danel Quartet whom I have seen play it three times in the Netherlands. It is always intense, but playing it a little fast gives a hectic feeling that picks up after the adagio again. I hope you record the whole quartet at some point, as I would love to hear it. Lovely interpretation!

My wife and I just attended your concert last evening in Greensboro, NC. This performance included the Korngold, as well as the Britten string quartet No.2 and the Bacewicz string quartet No.4. A stunningly beautiful performance, and one of the best programs I've heard in years. Bravo!

Beautiful rendition! I like their sound and technique, especially the cellist. I also enjoy the unusual set up with the two violins facing each other rather than being on the left.
