1st comment! Thanks for taking the heat.Always like to see the local rail traffic. Next week we`re to have cooler weather & even possible showers so maybe your time in Pasco won`t be too bad after all. Yes I know Pasco is on the east side of the Cascades. I still hope it will be cooler for you.

The leading unit is usually on the Toledo Hauler. It used to trail all the time and we finally got to hear the horn!

Refering to a 2008 edition of the Altamont Press Northwest Region Timetable (#8), on page 60, it looks like both the Seghers and Forest Grove Districts were operating under the Yard Limits rule, (Seghers at 10 MPH, and Forest Grove at 5). Where can I find more current info? It sure looks, from this video, that YL speeds are still the rule this year...

Did this originate at the RR Museum ? If so, what’s the state of 4449 ?
4449 is in fully operational condition, but sadly has nowhere to run.
@@zacharycalgher3978 the issue is with the curve to the Oregon Rail Heritage center, every time 4449 runs that curve it needs to get repaired because of the radius of the curve, OPR is not having it with repairing it each time
Every time I'm up in that area, that train isn't running. I've seen the route many times from the bike path. Neat to see a bit from the other side of the fence.
I don't remember seeing too many Mt Hood Lumber loads heading east in the Gorge out of Portland, nice video & Happy Birthday!

This is rare! Norfolk Southern locomotives are usually from the eastern side of America like CSX locomotives. The western side has Union Pacific & BNSF.

actually that atsf unit is the only orginal atsf unit out here that’s still on bnsf and we have more sp out there than the rest of up

I wonder how long it will take to repaint the MRL SD70ACEs? Since the body is already dark blue, repaint it into the blue and yellow pre warbonnet Santa Fe scheme.
