I’ve got a few Plotters and accessories and the ring protectors I find cause issues with the pages moving properly sometimes because they take up space and they don’t fit with the pocket added so that was a good call. Nice setup!

Yes the Sanzen batches used for 2025 planners is very inconsistent. Your planner can be perfect, the whole thing can bleed or even just random pages or even parts of pages. I’ve for a blog post on my website talking about it. And I’m putting up a video about the topic too (should be up this week). Can take some time to find the pen/ink combo that works for you. But just embrace the process. These books tell a story and it’s not about perfection 😉💗

I’ve found keeping my ring system simple and focusing on what I actually need is key. There are a lot of amazing inserts available for free and purchase. But they don’t all work for my life or needs and often trying to keep too many things updated makes me fail. Making my own inserts or using an insert for a different purpose that makes it work better for me can help as well. I made a list of what I need in my planner. What I need to track and keep track of. And then figured out how to group them so I use them efficiently. And I’m not flipping all the time. Finding the right weekly is a big thing too. But there’s a crazy number of free options. And it’s easy to draw out what you want and test it and find the right layout and the find a resource for it. Really thinking about how you plan and how you need to see your week. I’m also thinking of making a reference binder for things I want access to but don’t need in my planner and don’t need to deal with regularly like home maintenance, recipe stuff, packing lists etc. I think it may work for me better because I don’t like a bunch of stuff in my planner I just flip thru. And don’t like mega chunk.

I am torn between personal rings and A6 rings as my daily planner . BOTH has served me well . Sometimes less is better and working your way to adding things that work for you and taking away things that don't work . What frustrates me are the weekly layouts . I don't consistently stay in one weekly layout a whole year. I choose my weekly layout for the week according to how busy it gets and what my needs are for the week .

I think finding the right weekly will make all the difference for you! And as a mom of 6, I’d caution adding too many things to your planner, sometimes less is more. ❤

I'm so glad to find your video tonight, instant follow:) I find i leave white space on the bottom of my dailies as well. If it really bugs you. You could throw a few lines of memories or micro journaling. But you get used to it, and it doesn’t mean anything, so try not to worry. Your inserts look great. Try to be kind to yourself. it's supposed to hold our scribbles and life things. Finding your favorite weekly will help immensely. Don't wait to take out any pages you dont like. OMGeez I am about to screenshot and print Paddington for my planner as well LOL so cute 😂 is the plotter weekly on one page for the Bible size? I have plotter inserts for my pocket and the week is on one page with a second page for notes just like the hobo weeks. I love it. I’ve been toying with the thought of personal planning in a personal size Filofax but your video reminds me that I probably don’t want to have all that space to fill up… pocket is my sweet spot…especially for personal planning…work planning is a different thing. I do like that monthly weekly daily cleaning tracker better than the one I am NOT using 😂 also your baby sounds soooo cute.

The vertical weekly in the cousin/HON is my fave layout for memory keeping but just straight time block. I wish they made a booklet of just that (like they do the a6!) Just wowwwww - love all your ideas for this layout! Loved the chatty video esp the part “I got Covid and the babies got sick. That was fun” 😂😂 but also ughhhh that’s the worst bc you still gotta take care of them too gah! Glad that’s over with!

Same here in that I am more horizontal than vertical. I do enjoy creating the pretty spreads but wouldn’t be able to keep up weekly in a cousin. Thanks for sharing though. Maybe the turning it horizontal for journaling might be the easiest!

I love your plotter setup. I said I wouldn’t EDC plan in rings because all the paper punching and cutting leaves me weak and weary 😂 but I’ve been wanting to get some pocket rings just for fun and something I can alternate with my beloved pocket bound notebook. I can’t decide whether to get some sort of Filofax pocket or a plotter. I currently use the Plotter bible sized inserts in my personal Filofax rings which I use as a home maintenance binder. I LOVE the plotter inserts. We shall see. But thanks for sharing. Enjoy!
