Is there any way around the salt water?
Not that I recall. And I try to avoid salt water like the plague especially when I know I won’t have any way to wash it off for some time...
I used to hear that sound when my ex opened her legs...
A CAR COULD HAVE GONE THOUGHT THERE
In 1974 some pretty good sections of the rabbit proof fence were still around in the Jigalong area. I was working east south east of Newman and I had one day off every thirteen days, so I explored. One thing I really wanted to do, was to check out the fence; it was in reasonable nick and you still weren't supposed to travel along it. Late 1974 I headed south to Norseman, then took the north track south of Norseman, but missing Peak Charles (which I believe is now a NP) once onto the long straight, which is around 90 km's, there is a LH corner with government water tanks, camped there for the night and ran across an old rabbit fence fella who had worked up north but came down south when they gave up trying to keep rabbits out in the north. The next morning I came across the modern rabbit proof fence, which the old fella reckoned was way better than what he worked on up north in the 1920's. Enjoyed the clip, nice and slow and certainly showed the typical terrain out there. You know a track hasn't been used in a while when you come across a tree or a termite mound in the middle of it, as you showed with the termite mound.
This is the greatest Earth Cruiser you tube video on here. Thank you it real show how good these RV are Lance at Earth Cruiser should be glad that this video was made and should support your further trips. Australia has every thing that any other country has to offer for great landscape's it all here and one only needs to get out here and find it- I wish I could owe one of these RV trucks.
Thanks Rodney. We still have our EC and love it just as much as the day we bought it. It’s been overseas the past 5 years. Just back in Oz as of last August. Commencing a 6 month remote trip Northern Oz in May.
The first 3 minutes and the last 3 minutes were interesting at least

Nice video and great accomplishment! I would have liked ot have seen the campfires, cooking etc. I love the way you use your truck as designed and didnt whine at all about scatching it up a bit.
Looks bloody rough mate you got a good rig there
Crikey.
Crikey,good on ya cobber
Love seeing these vehicles actually being used properly! Not scared of a few scratches. Adds character.
That’s a bloody good rig
You both are so awesome ! Great teamwork always.. And you are the only ones out here, that have put the "EarthCruiser to the test.. I tip my hat to you both.. Happy trails..

Geez dude, how much did they charge you for the re spray??? Torcha on the vehicle. But good on ya cobber!!!!
Great footage , spent time in past mapping in area with Geologist . Can you get closer to mic as lots of narration very hard to hear . Cheers .
Great stuff
Rather you than me mate, too outback for this old by, but full marks to you & your wife,
wow you managed to turn a 4x4 Camper into a bulldozer! what a very versatile vehicle! :-)
Please keep making videos :) Some more outside shots would be great too
How much does that vehicle weigh?
I Agree with Alasdair & Cameron. I watched t go to wo but I would liked to have see what they mentioned as well as a few shot of the earth cruiser and the marks/scars it received from the trip. Also what damage and repairs post trip would have been good to with some advice and tips for those following or attempting similar trips. you could have even made it a small series???? Add all that stuff and you got a great doco. Thanks for posting!
How did you clear the seeds and chaff from the radiator and intercooler? Compressor line? Brush? And, yeah, let's have some tea-brewing and interior shots. When's the next excursion?
Good stuff, and nice to see the vehicle being used - thanks for documenting it. What year is your FG?
Well done, nice speed and commitment, you know it was a risky task but waited till it was safe top job
I agree with Alasdair with the other aspects of the trip would have been great too. Great video as there is nothing out there that i can find with an Earth Cruiser in it. Except pro-mo stuff. keep up the good work. ps very jealous of your trips and Earth Cruiser.
nice passion wagon dude ! I'd be stopping for a 40 minute prospectors gem / metal detector session every 250 meters if it were me doing that off road adventure that you just raced .... at least in some sections of it ... and where's the food dude ... and the cooking and the campfires and the weird local folklore stories as the moon comes up over the horizon with wild dingo's howling in the background ? that's a long video of just looking from the same perspective ... but, like i said ... I watched it from start to finish .... thanks for sharing !
At last! EC at work as it passes the camera. More! More! When do we get a look inside, mate?
Keren dan tangguh ....
