lovely video, of course.
Glad you enjoyed it!🥹
I live in Cambodia, but I have never tried traveling by train😢
Was a great experience! cheap, efficient, would recommend! Although I heard for Kampot to Phenom Penh it takes longer than by bus. Also, all the tuktuk drivers surrounding you as you get off the train was a bit startling, but obviously they meant well. Just their business!
@@farhangbeh11 I wish I would have a great chance to try👏
Enjoy your holiday sir!🤩

Wow, so many tourists! When I visited back in 2008, it was so much quieter :)
It’s actually quite quiet in comparison to the other countries I’ve been to, but yes, definitely a popular destination!
welcome to cambodia 🥰🥰 happy khmer new year
Happy new year! Thank you 🥰🥰
Fun! Thanks for taking the time.
Glad you enjoyed it! <3
Is there a particular reason why you applied the Thai catch phrase of land of smiles to Cambodia a land of wonder. Do you know it can cause a misery and misunderstanding for both nations and anger its people unnecessarily had they came across your content. We already knew Thailand is the land of smiles from a catch phrases within tourism perspective or representation the character trace of the Thai people as a nation within Southeast Asia and world wide for more than 40 years. So for most, Thailand = Amazing Thailand, the land of smiles. Is naming of your content logical or intended to a specific way in gaining followers.
Hello! Honestly, I just used chatgpt "What is Cambodian known for" to try to look for title inspiration, and the top one was the Land of Smiles. I honestly had never heard of Thailand being called as such, so I didn't think much of it, and my experience in Cambodia completely reflected the title. I definitely have no interest in click bait as this is primarily to bring my family and friends closer to my experiences. Cambodia is such a beautiful country, and people have truly smiled at me everywhere I've gone, as minuscule of an interaction it may have been. Times are changing and tourism in all these countries is fluctuating a lot. I'm sorry if title appeared to be stolen and caused harm, but I see no reason multiple countries can't be known as the land of smiles :)
@@farhangbeh11 first, just type in - land of smiles - and that’s it into google search, you should get the right collected answers data from one of the world’s most biggest search engines with in 2 secs if you have good internet. Secondly, Cambodia issued themselves as - land of wonders - in promoting tourism not so long back. The recent SEA games they hosted last year confirmed this through many official statements sent out to many of their neighboring countries in asking for help in organizing the event. At the moment Cambodia are the only country left in the Southeast Asia region that doesn’t get or understand the full gist in globalization their unique quality promptly to the rest of the world. Cambodia unprofessionalism or incompetence actions often caused a dispute in the Southeast Asia to one point that even Singapore = led the voting to no longer accept Cambodia as part of their ASEAN community. This is because communism Cambodian lack of ways in understanding trade deals logistics were pulling down what could be growth within e-commerce through political treaty pact. = A closed results referendum in loss of nearly half, Unfortunately at that time Thailand took Cambodian side. Today the Thai are now feeling the culture heritage pain through copy rights issues with Cambodian, just like how Japanese - sumo’s or Korea - tae kwon do = came from Cambodia. This is why UNESCO have became the newest recent judge talked about subjects within the region. Third - catch phrases in advertising is not just a meaningless description. There’s a come about in things if you give it more courtesy and manners in creating a public content. This is why we asked what is your intention because in social media this can stirred up evermore hatred comments and bad feelings between the locals even more, especially given their current situation. Finally, western values branding rights under legalizing regulation as part of law protecting us. For Southeast Asia they Values respect for one another highly within their culture boundaries sometimes even more than laws itself. Although local Cambodia is not at fault and just following their propagandist policies leadership of today the new hunmanet. But it doesn’t help if public content are being created on sensitive area. We are surprised on how bazaar in choice of words used to front your created content. After visiting and traveling to that zone for nearly forty years you are the first we have seen to do so. At the end of the day your personal way in talking about a country shouldn’t be judged but then why put on utube if it wasn’t intended to create certain concept of concern or for likes push. Though, you have shared us your narrow views about the world and thank you.
😃😃😁😁Wow! Nice view at night! Good job bro!
welcome to cambodia
What a beautiful country, will definitely be back! :)
@@farhangbeh11 Welcome for all of You 24/24h Love you❤️️
❤️🇰🇭🙏🏻
Certainly Cambodian/Khmer people are lovely and deserving of such a title. However, for accuracy, Thailand is known as the Land of Smiles, not Cambodia. But both can be. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you! I learned something for sure, didn't realize Thailand was known as the Land of Smiles, but both countries were definitely filled with them!
@@farhangbeh11 very cool ❤️
Good job bro!👏 More video about Cambodia plz😊
Coming soon! 👀
small animals love a damp island boy
Glad we survived 😘
I left the country back in 1979 after I had to live through the genocide under Pol Pot killing madness. Most of my family members did not survive as we were forced to move out of the Phnom Penh City in 1975 to work in the rice fields. I've returned to visit my sole surviving sister every year for the last ten years since my retirement from the US to heal the past. It's very safe to visit Cambodia now as the country has come a long way since the prolonged civil war was officially ended upruptly in 1998. Be mindful of your surroundings . Be kind whenever possible. It's always possible as life is short to do the things we don't love doing. Happy and safe travels from a genocide survivor ✌️
My goodness, thank you for sharing a brief bit of your history. It was truly a shock when I arrived to learn about the horrific history. I am of Persian descent, and they had a revolution in 1979 that led to a new government taking over by using false promises of prosperity within the new rule - similar to Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. Visiting S-21, The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum was an absolutely chilling experience for me. From the moment I set foot in the museum, I was overtaken by some sort of energy. And the stories I heard from the audio tapes were all too familiar. Cambodia has been an amazing country, and I was sad to leave. Beautiful landscapes from mountains, beaches, islands, to old ancient monuments. And most importantly, amazing people! I really hope the best for the people and it's revival as the culture is truly astonishing. I hope you and your family heal a bit more every day that passes, and for a bright future <3
@@farhangbeh11 Thank you for taking your time to read my message and to share some of your stories with us. I just returned from my trip there and people are moving on with their lives as usual. Again , I'm glad that you had a chance to visit Cambodia. Sharing is caring!
