In this special podcast, we are fortunate to speak with Dr. Rahul Warke, currently a Director of the Microbiology Department in HiMedia Laboratories. We are keen to learn about his contributions to the changing face of microbiology. From his involvement in the Biological Warfare program of the U.S. Navy, where he carried out his first stomach turning research work, to his perception of tobacco as a possible source of toxins-it’s hard not to be impressed by Dr. Warke’s work in progress. His journey encompasses creation of animal free microbiological media for the vaccine and biopharma markets, troubleshooting automated technology set up in India, and most recently human microbiome.
