I miss it so much!!!! LoMo Band days were the best. Kronos, The Inferno, Blue Ridge Saga, Celtic Carol, The Great Locomotive Chase... and can't foget the Jazz Band. If you're in the band now, savor it! Lower Moreland is one of the few schools where being in the band is cool, so have fun. (Somewhere in the back playing the trumpet, is a litlle blonde boy who doesn't know how cool it is to be in the band yet)

@irishrazorback My school performed this in 2007. We started off with Fierra Winds, and transitioned to Havendance. The visuals where amazing, and we kept it at this tempo which was hard at first. This was a good performance by the way.

I played this too under Dr. Hilliard in Feb 04 in Oklahoma small school all-state band. We used beach balls and tons of toilet paper. The bassoons put rubber gloves on top and they would "wave" on certain notes. The clarinets did waves. Flutes had signs saying "flutes on strike" and trumpets did this really funny horse neigh. Haha, the tp was strung all over the place by the end and some of it was thrown out into the audience.

LOL the chimes person's chewing gum (?) I agree, the intro was a bit fast. But I loved the horn soli, it's my favorite part of the piece to play. Over all, terrific job, and I doubt our band will sound half as good.

I see that all of your results are shown as 10 to a page. The first thing I do the first time I ever go to Google on a computer I hadn't used before is to go to Preferences and set it to 100 per page. 10 per page is for the dial-up age. 100 per page rules! (And maybe one day, they'll give us the option for 500 or even 1,000.)

My all state band performed this piece back in 2003 under the direction of Quincy Hilliard. We did a lot of the same random things minus the silly string, but added our own unique touch to it (perhaps both groups inspired by Dr. Hilliard's ideas?) - Glad to find a recording of it online.

Your band was rushing in the 53rd measure and way to slow in the 39th through 58th..also your conductor dresses funny...and that curtin in the back whats up with that...the one redeaming factor in all of this is that fact that the third bassist in the back is incredibly good looking
