I have a dim memory of this gig, of climbing onstage, giving Paddy a hug before fish dancing (?) and accidentally unplugging his pedalboard. I think Sabbat played after this. I took a run up from the back of the stage and stagedived and of course the bastard audience parted like the Red Sea! I still remember hearing loads of people go "oooof!" just as I hit the floor, fucking up my back. Somehow, I still managed to hobble into work the next day. Fortunately, I don't seem to show up in this vid, thanks to the cameraman keeping stage-left mostly out of it. Great fun at the time, but what were we all thinking? Teenage cringe! Anyway, that's all for now, nursie says it's time for my pills.

Hearing the crowd sing along to this is so heartwarming.

It's amazing Stone Roses means so much to so many people still. It was my first vinyl I bought when I was 14 and adore them. Best brit pop band!

Would love to have seen this, I went to see oasis who are very good as well, lost my bloody ticket on the day,bought another one off a ticket tout, anyway after the gig a car goes by playing full blast she bangs the drums wow this band are legends. First heard the album at the age of 16.
