Riding 118 miles in the Texas HIll Country
A BIG ride I do every year with friends in the Texas hill country. Brand new style of filming and making it cohesive was really difficult, a lot to think about, especially when your riding 118 miles with monsters.

Picking up and starting to install the metal siding and roofing, again this felt very disjointed. As the work gets harder the videos seem to get worse, hopefully I just keep learning.

I thought it would make more sense to backup and introduce the property and current state of the cabin before jumping into the cabin builds. Voice over is still makes me cringe, luckily only my family watches these.

About 6,000 ft, not bad for Texas
I went to school at Texas State and that's is where I fell in love with cycling. When life got too stressful an early morning ride to New Branfuels to ride up River Road to Canyon Lake was my way of escaping reality for a few hours. Thanks for this video reminding me of simpler times.
What is the route ? I live in Coleman Tx. 4000 people and 1 cyclist. March 1-31 I ride from Coleman to Miami.

Just got done cycling in Texas for a few days! Lots of gravel :)
Loved the old days of doing the Tour De Gruene 2 man team time trials from Gruene Hall that included River Road. Glad there didn't seem to be much car traffic for you. It can be nasty at times.
