Seems u have your rev limiter removed? Whats the topspeed?
Yes its ecu has been tuned. It had a top speed limiter at around 255-260km/h, not a rev limiter.. But we also raised the rev limiter 500rpms more. My top speed at the limiter was 297km/h at the speedo (283 gps measured) with one tooth smaller rear sprocket.

Amazing how always people on the strongest bikes wear no gear for some reason. Maybe it was just that expensive so nothing was left for the gear

What traction control and wheelie settings are you using? I have a 24 but the TC seems to want to fight me. The thing has so much torque that I don't want to turn wheelie control all the way off.
This is an 18 model with no wheelie control.. only traction.. Eitherway I always prefer everything off.. Its better to keep it on for safety though, not the kind of bike to learn wheelies with so much torque.. agree..

@@giorgosfourou I was worried because as powerful as a power wheelie is, I understood that the bike's power at 180kmh to keep it up was running out. Other than that, excellent balance and knowledge of the bike (:
@@88swordmaster Oh no.. Trust me its pretty easy to keep it up until 240-250, or even start the wheelie from 200km/h ..At that point its too risky though... The front wheel stops moving and when it hits the ground it has to spin from zero to 250km/h instantly.. Pretty dangerous and scary if something doesnt go as planned 🤣
@@giorgosfourou I believe you, God forbid. Just thinking that it can do a wheelie at 200kmh scares me. Conversely my cbr 600f only wheelies in low gears, using the clutch and with the passenger on board, lol. Maximum admiration for your motorbike

Whats the difference in money spent on each bike, is the Stage 2 worth it?
Around 1500€ for a complete stage1 and from there another 1000-1500€ to update to a full stage2.. Big difference perfomance wise, but you have to accept that you lose some reliability.. There are other solutions too though.. For example camshaft and ported heads without changing the compression of the motor so you wont risk your engine life.. A more daily set up which will give you an approximate 10hp increase from a stage1 and will cost you a liitle less than 1000€.
@@giorgosfourou I understand, to also get some reliability back, you would have to invest even more into some engine work. What I still wonder is, how much hp a stock MT-09 has, your stage 1 has 123hp but yamaha advertises them with something like 120hp. Is your HP reading from the bacj wheel?
@@RuBa1Z Totally agree about some extra work into the engine for a more reliable motor.. About the horsepower, yes, the numbers are reffered to the rear wheel , (WHP : wheel horsepower). A stock MT09 starts at around 110-114 WHP, but it always depends on which dyno you are testing.. Both bikes were tuned on the same dyno so I stated the numbers to show the difference between them.
@@RuBa1Z We' ve seen a lot of stage 1 MT09s with 125 126 WHP on different dynos but they didnt perform on the road as well as another bike with 120WHP on another dyno.
What is stage 1&2?
The modifications are writen in the description. Basically stage1 is anything you can do without touching the engine, and stage2 is stage1 + some engine modifications in the head cylinder.. Usually stage3 is reffered to turbo conversion or nitrous..
