Converting Air to Electric Bus Wipers
#bus This is a huge upgrade to my 1988 Model 15 Silver Eagle BUS. The one thing you take for granted when buying a bus is the air windshield wipers. When they work, they work OK but after a few hours they become a job to keep them working or the noise gets to you. There's nothing like having quiet electric steady working wipers and washers....Wow, well that's a bonus.
This is something when I bought the bus I knew I would eventually add but some of the kits are like $1,200.00.
So this is the way I did mine. let me know if there's anything I didn't cover?
Thanks!

Bus conversion Must

#busconversion #buslife #tinyhouse If you ever thinking about building out a bus for tiny home living, then you should consider watching this video. There's a lot of things I took for granted when I bought this Silver Eagle Bus. One being, how doing you fix what's under the floor's.

Bus Conversion Don't!
มุมมอง 1.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
After all the time I spent getting the motor and trans in, Boom! The power steering goes out! I'm just glad it happened where it happened and I can spend the time fixing it the way I want it rather just getting it going and head down the road. This is going to be a on going project for awhile but it doesn't mean I won't be taking it places. Stay Tuned for future videos and see where.

I promise this video is worth the 30mins to watch the whole thing I poured a lot of time into the editing to try and fit the past year's work into the time I have it stripped down to. Bus Balancer Install
มุมมอง 6883 ปีที่แล้ว
This Balancer has been a problem since before the engine was out of the bus. I believe because it was never installed correctly it caused the motor to come apart when it did or it definitely added to the failure. I did research and found a extended cone wedge but the part number was obsolete I was told. I took the balancer keeper and puller mount from the motor I bought and we made a 1/4" shim ...

    I’m so glad I came across your channel. We went on our first RV trip last April. I was a nervous wreck the whole time while my husband was driving because we had to take all three dogs with us. One turned 14 mid May, a miniature schnauzer, and she has signs of dementia. She would pace back and forth, back and forth, so much of every day, and I was sure she would fall down the steps! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Beautiful job you did! Thanks!!

    in my opinion, the correct assembly is when the water seal is pressed onto an already installed shaft. Pressing the shaft into an already installed water seal may damage the seal.

    I just started watching the first couple minutes of this video but I followed your work on this floor. It never dawned on me until now in regards to this floor and ALL the time and brain power messing with wood floor and getting it back to it's original settings. When you mentioned replacing the carpet up floor, heck why don't you carpet the whole thing and the heck with the wood floor. Buses aren't like houses when people have it in their minds that kitchens have to have hard floor surfaces. Buses are rolling earthquakes and hard floors are cold. Just a thought for ya! Blessings to you and your family and cats!

      @11thhourcustom 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I agree with you but I did like the way the hardwood looked and I wanted to put it back the way it was minus the carpet. Carpet collects a lot of dirt and it looked like the beach when I ripped it up.

      @@11thhourcustom Yes, you are right about the dust and Sandy Beach. I experienced the sand also when I took out my carpet and installed hard surface floors. But during the winter season I do use a Mohawk carpet type product with thick recycled rubber backing because of the cold floor and there hasn't been any kind of residue from them yet. Going into my 9th winter season as a full-time Bus RV'ER out here in Western Maryland at 2900 feet. Brrr! I saw your end results and the floor really looks great.... good job!
