Wow! That’s incredibly kind of you! 💚💚💚 thank you so much This may sound a little odd but sometimes after a fragrance has dried down on my skin & it’s becoming more of a skin scent I can “reactivate” it by wetting it again. Kind of like when you shower or go swimming the fragrance because super strong like you just sprayed it again. That’s actually a great question because 9x/10 it ends up being a surprise. It makes it fun because I’m always wondering which fragrance is going to outshine the other or which notes will be more prominent. Most days are like an impromptu science experiment 😂

Regarding caramel cascade I truly think I’m in the minority because a lot of people get a root beer note & I don’t. I get mostly play dough WITH all the yummy gourmand notes. But the play dough is what I pick up on most & now I can’t unsmell it 😭 I agree there’s no way on earth every single person loves the same fragrance. It’s just impossible. I have to agree on the online culture too & it applies to just about everything - cups, makeup, skincare, hair care, fashion/bags. It’s endless. That’s why I will forever preach about sampling first & not feeling like we have to go buy everything everyone says we NEED when maybe just a sample or decant would scratch the itch. Another scary part is the VELOCITY in which fragrances are released which only adds to the FOMO. I think money is a huge factor regarding middle eastern fragrances due to how much more affordable they are compared to most designer & niche fragrances. Which makes the appeal that much stronger. I do have to say that it makes the disappointment slightly less than what I’ve experienced by paying >$200 for a fragrance that disappears on my skin in an hour. So absolutely valid on all fronts. Pros & cons to both so the only way to go around is by sampling first.

Oooh! Eau de Vanille sounds like something I’d love & is also on my list to try next. Especially with the way you just described it! Sounds like it’d be perfect for the fall & winter also 😍💚

I truly can’t believe I left the best for last. I’ve loved all the other fragrances from this line, which is hysterical now that I think of it, because those are all much more polarizing than Honor & Glory. She’s like the sweet angel baby of the whole family 😂 truly one of my new favorites! & LOL!!! That’s how you KNOW it’s good because kids really couldn’t give a rats 99% of the time 😂

It really sucks when that happens 😭 that’s how I feel about a couple old favorites of mine. I used to love them so much & couldn’t image not wearing them & now I quite literally can’t stand them on myself. Such a bummer. It’s okay though! So many other fragrances to enjoy 💚

Sundazed is amazing! I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist last time I sampled it at Neimans! I have Finery Magnetic Candy which is *allegedly* a dupe, & I loved wearing that one in the summer. Thank you for YOUR kindness 💚💚💚

I totally get that. Sometimes life experiences can ruin a scent you wear at that specific time😢fragrances are like little bottles of time traveling juice.. they take us places; so I’ve stopped wearing some I loved bc I don’t want to revisit certain feelings.🥲

I believe as you get older you change in more ways that the physical this is why you can love a food and then not like it anymore but used to be obsessed with. See Athena still sounds so yummy to me too, for that lighter airy feel. Would you say there’s enough difference between the three to justify me getting Athena too 😭

To my nose the lavender is definitely toned down in Angham. I do think Lavender Clouds from Being Frenshe would be a good companion to either/both Burberry Goddess & Angham to amp up the lavender. It’s the only other prominent lavender fragrance in my collection but I think you’d like that one too!

I was this close 👌🏽 to getting Athena too. I’ve heard they’re so similar I was so conflicted on them and went with Angham but I hear nothing but amazing things about Athena.

I absolutely will do a video on it! it's only been a few days since I've received it but straight out of the box it was nearly identical, slightly sweeter to my nose but otherwise indistinguishable!

OOH YES! it was an after thought & I was kicking myself for not mentioning it in the video but Liam + Eclaire definitely enhances makes it a sweet, creamy/milky tea. You have incredible taste because all those combinations sound amazing!

I too had high hopes. If you detest powdery fragrances steer clear of that one. it hasn't even been a full month but after I read your comment I went to have another whiff & sadly, it is still mostly clean + powdery. On my skin after dry down maybe a tiny tiny bit sweeter/more vanilla is coming out than I recalled first impression, but by no means is vanilla the star of the show.

I feel with some experimenting most fragrances can be made at least likable enough to not feel like we wasted our money, especially if we can make layering work with other fragrances that already exist in our collections.
