In case you arent aware, this song is specifically about a goal scored by a Brazilian player João Batista de Sales who was better known as Fio Maravilha ("Son Wonder"). He was christened "Fio" as when he was young, his mother would shout "Fio" ("Son") from the crowd as he played. He was a local hero for his team as he had a lot of passion and fire for the game but often messed up in vital moments. Jorge Ben Jor happened to attend a friendly match between Filho's team - Flamengo and another team, Benfica in 1972. Fio was left out of the starting lineup but after the fans started chanting for him to be brought on to the pitch, he was substituted into the game. 33 minutes into the second half he scored the goal that was immortalised in the song; referenced as "Foi um gol de anjo" or "the goal of an angel". Jorge goes on to describe the goal as it occurred in front of him and the other adoring fans: "Depois de fazer uma jogada celestial em gol Tabelou, driblou dois zagueiros Deu um toque, driblou o goleiro "...driblou o goleiro Só não entrou com bola e tudo porque teve humildade" Or, in English: "After making a celestial play in goal, Tabled, dribbled two defenders, Gave a touch, dribbled the goalkeeper, Just didn't come in with the ball and everything, Because he had humility in goal" A truly beautiful moment captured in song.

I bought a cousin of this watch, the H9010ATV and got it twelve days ago. It worked fine for ten days. Yesterday it stopped working and will not start despite winding and moving it around. Hopefully they will be able to repair it under warranty. I was hoping for more than ten days of service from it.

To anyone wondering, this song describes literaly the goal Fio Maravilha, (wonder son) scored for flamengo against benfica in Maracanã stadium in 1972. Jorge Ben Jor honored him with this song. He never was a great player, but had a great stamina and drive. was known for dribbling defenders and missing goal oportunities, but was a great person and loved by the crowds.

Hi, i have a blancpain villeret 40mm watch in stainless steel 2 years old watch and i noticed that it is stiff when i try to wind it. It has 72 hours power reserve. I have to pull out the crown in order for it to be buttery smooth when i wind it. It keeps excellent time BUT it is just stiff if i dont pull out the crown. When I pull it out, it is sooo smooth. Any idea on what could it be? I dont have warranty.

Maybe you can help me out with this one. I bought two watches the other day and both don’t hold the time. I take out the crown I click it a couple times set the time push it back in lock the crown and by the morning it has stopped working. Any suggestions, both are steel dive watches

Great review. I'm seriously considering this watch. My only concern is that it might be too big for me. My wrist is 6.25 inches. I am a small framed woman. I have 3 Aragon watches now. But they are 43mm and 45mm. And they are big. I love the look of this watch and if it was 45mm I would definitely buy it. The crystal looks beautiful especially with the blue dial.

I bought the silver dial 71 tritium tube version I wear to bed to tell time when I wake during the night. 350.00 for it and wish it was 42 or 45mm rather than 50mm

They are trying to sell those watch gaskets individually on e Bay. I got a pack like you suggested. Probably never use them. Anyway the old gasket looked too stretched to use but again as you suggest it fit into the watch itself. Helpful. Thanks.
