Nice video
Dude, I love your park. I love how you try to simulate real coaster manufacturers like Intamin, Arrow, and CCI. The aesthetics of this park reminds me of MickenMansRCTStation.
Rct is so comforting. Thank you for this video. 🥹
Was expecting an arrow custom looper inspired by the likes of Viper (DL), Orient Express, or Dragon Mountain (since funland has an arrow corkscrew and there seems to be a lot more space at Joyland to work with) but I'll roll with it. Guessing the double looper is another temporary attraction and will be replaced later on (either by the late 80s or early 90s) with a more permanent installation.
Since Corkscrew opened, the goal was to eventually get a double inverting coaster for Joyland as well. The area here has been the place I had imagined it, and it took a few years to get close enough for the coaster to make sense (It's still kinda off by itself, and I intend to fix that with a few more expansions). As far as the choice for Schwarzkopf, I really wanted something where guests could walk and see the massive double loops up close, as at the time they would have been very intimidating. Growing up my local park had a double looping coaster, and the double loops always stood out.
Really Nice Work! Do you Have an Email or you on Discord. Beacause i Have My Own Schwarzkopf Double Looper Design, If you Wanted to Look at it.
Maybe as a huge addition, you could do a large arrow looper like Orient express at worlds of fun.
Joyland still is lacking in an inversion based rollercoaster but for how much longer… Also the theatre site at Joyland would be the perfect location for a hyper (or a giga) once the 2000’s roll around.
The 90's and 2000's are going to be a fun time for sure. As far as a new coaster for Joyland, they won't be waiting much longer.
this is OpenRCT2?
Yes indeed!
Can’t wait till the 80’s, the start of the Arrow loopers.
Got an arrow coaster already, it’s corkscrew.
Or an Arrow suspended coaster, or a Togo stand-up, or an Intiman or Mack bobsled coaster or even another woodie
Plenty of good options tbh...
I'm about to fire up RCT3 you know you can ride the rides right?
Is that chain lift sound on open rct2?!
The Arrow lift sound you are hearing in this video is added in post production. However, OpenRCT2 does have some modified sound effects in game under the "OpenRCT2 Sound FX" option in the settings.
A cool edition to the park, would be an arrow shuttle looper or a schwartzkoph one.
I do like the idea of eventually adding a shuttle coaster of some sort, but keep in mind we're trying to base our additions off of what was available to purchase in 1976. The first Shuttle Loops by either Arrow or Schwarzkopf didn't open until 1977, and we're just coming off of a major addition with Corkscrew in 1975. If we add too many coasters too quickly, we'll run out of additions for later seasons in the series. I think finding a good balance of additions is the key for now.
just found your channel this is awesome, good stuff sir
Like Busch Gardens Python, my 2nd RC on my list. Man that thing was head banger by the late 90s when I was tall enough to ride. But without it we wouldn't have Kumba, Montu, Cheetah Hunt or the GOAT RC, Iron Gwazi
Python was my first inverting rollercoaster
in the 1976 Season You could do a schwarzkopf Looping Coaster, Like Revoloution at Magic Moutain.
Or an Enterprise for a new flat ride
Police Roller Coaster
Maybe in the 1976 Season, the Corkscrew Coaster Could Get a Loop. Beacause Ceader Point Got Corkscrew in 1976,Which had a Loop.
This was in 1975, they year knotts opened corkscrew, which has a double corkscrew and no loop, so no, the vertical loop might not happen.
We added our Corkscrew late in the season to rival the prototype that Knott's added earlier the same year. While the idea to modify it is interesting, Funland has plenty of space to expand and add even more attractions.
@@rctcreations9121 Like Maybe in 1976 You could do a schwarzkopf Looping Coaster, Like Revoloution at Magic Moutain.
for the arrow corkscrews lift hill, you can use the ride editor plug in to Change it to use the multi Deminsional Lift Hill Track. it looks really nice.
I've never been a huge fan of switching track types in RCT. I know a lot of other do it, but to me it looks very odd. I am very happy with how Corkscrew's lift catwalk turned out by using the base game objects, but you never know, I might do something like that in the future!
@@rctcreations9121 ok
Are you doing both parks or someone else do the other one?
I'm working both parks and keeping track of revenue in an Excel spreadsheet
Hoping fun corp can fix the issues with the new arrow flumes so they can run faster and continue their relationship with Arrow. I really want to see a custom looper come to one of the parks (heck, maybe both).
for the 1975 season, are you gonna Build an Arrow Corkscrew Coaster?
Very good guess! Though we still have to explore Fun Corp.'s issues with Arrow's new flumes, and how that eventually leads to Funland's 1975 addition.
@@rctcreations9121 :)
Calling it now: Wildcat won’t last too long at funland and will be removed and relocated when the park gets a more permanent rollercoaster (arrow custom looper?) in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. I’m excited to see where this series goes and how the parks evolve over time.
The Schwarzkopf Wildcat coasters were definitely never intended to be permanent fixtures at larger parks. However, Cedar Point was able to keep theirs rolling for a long time, and even replaced it with an identical model. Funland has plenty of space for future expansion, so we'll see how it plays out!
Or the park builds a woodie in the 1970’s
@@rctcreations9121I say keep wildcat running until the 1982 season then it will be relocated somewhere else.
Infinity trains? 😱😱
this is such an awesome series!!!
Thanks a ton! I've been having a blast with this series!
Pretty good ride on White Cyclone but in order for this built in-house wooden roller coaster to look nicer, I would use the new track pieces on the valleys and airtime hills.
This ride design was complete before the new pieces were added unfortunately :(
Cute little spining coaster design 😍.
Luv it. Sexy ride. RCT is the slickest game ever made
A remake of this with the new large level to steep and large half loop pieces would be awesome to see.
Besides knotts and discovery kingdom, your gonna have to step up your game in the next few seasons for Funland, because magic mountain opened in 1971, so your gonna need to step up your game these next few seasons.
That poor car ride in the kids section needs some theming, it looks so bare :/
It is indeed very bare. As time goes on we might begin to see some vegetation grow into that area.
For you're rides, How come you dont Hide the Entrance and Exit Buildings?
When I was a kid I would always dream of entering a ride through on of those plain style buildings, and they hold a lot of nostalgia for me. So I keep them even though they're not very realistic.
Nice to see Time Twister and Wacky Worlds scenery! I really thought Rct2 Time Twister and Wacky Worlds Scenery Rides and Scenarios were very interesting!
Loved this game growing up. Thanks for the memories 😊
The crossover with the go-karts is my favorite part. I'm trying to get better at making rides overlap and intersect with other rides and pathways, and have it actually look good, but most of my attempts look weird.
why not use the new pieces that just came out for the big hills
Cyclone was completed just before those track pieces were released, so unfortunately I missed the window :(
This game just gets more and more sexy
Excuse me?
@Ilikeladygaga Everything is about sex, except sex, which is about power.
The 3 most alive games: * The Last Express (1997) * Rollercoaster Tycoon (1999) * Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)
RCCA’s coasters probably had all transitions like that
Wooden Roller Coaster 4 has broken down…
I can’t find Inverted Coaster 1!
I’ve been queuing for 4th Dimension Coaster 1 for ages!
Should i get rct classic
This ride was a piece of crap. I'm normally a rough coaster apologist but I'm not remotely surprised they removed this. What did surprise me was riding Desert Storm at Castles 'n' Coasters and discovering that Hopkins somehow got their shit together in the two years between this ride and that ride, and that coaster runs Schwarzkopf-level smooth. Such a shame Hopkins exited the coaster biz after that.
Why does the chain lift look like boosters?
King cobra
I Really Love This Recreation, But Why is there a Double Drop after Leaving the Station? The Pov of the Ride is Just a Turn out of the Station.
In real life, most old coasters have their station platforms slanted, and the track is angled slightly downwards so trains could use gravity to pick up enough momentum to grab the lift chain. I used the double drop in lieu of that.
“I want to go on something more exciting than Son Of Beast”
"I'm not going on Son of Beast - it isn't safe" Also notice how the cars are shaking as it traverses the course, just like the real thing
I want to get off Wooden Roller Coaster 4!
How you made the station sound like that ?
I add some extra effects for realism in post production.
@@rctcreations9121 oh ok ok i though you inserted a custom audio to the game, thxs !
So it’s basically Goliath at great America 💀
Essentially lol
