Hello everyone welcome. Here I have my second model 7268 which I got around to cleaning and getting it running today. I included a bonus cold start on my first 7268 (white wheels) which I had rebuilt the engine on that one with a new piston, rings, gaskets, seals, and carb kit. the first one I started has all the original carb parts that it came with. No Safety Engine Stop, or Blade disengaging when letting go of the Handle?
Lawn-Boys didn't have that until the 80s

JB weld steel stick will fix that hole and all the other bad pits. I just did that on an old lawn boy with a magnesium deck that I picked up recently. You can sand it and shape it just like bondo. It turned out better than I ever expected.
