TY Full Version! I'd heard they'd changed the venue ftom Manhattan to here in Brooklyn. I lived 1 1/2 miles so went down the night before where something *was* being set up. Trucks, big cables everywhere. Come back around 5:30PM tomorrow one of the guys told me. . Next day tried catching them on the flatbed truck riding around Manhattan, but i kept missing them. So I dashed back to the littler park across from this one. We watched as the people with the MTV tickets line up, and start going in. Suddenly people started facing in *my* direction, and a few others w The Manattan Bridge *behind* me, us. I finally turn around. They were riding across the bridge! "We'll see you soon.", Bono yelled down to us. . So the rest of us went down to near the gates and security by The Empire Ferry State Park. And...waited...and... As fans without tickets were let in a few at a time. I'm *finally* one person behind the front person by security.....feels like *forever*.... . Then, Yes! I, and a bunch more were free to run across this small area of ground where the water is further in like a little baylette; into the bigger park! I inched my way up to about ?15th row equivalent- which although I'd seen them live sinse 1984 I'd *never* even been *this close*. A great show...but when they started *this* song... It was so *thrilling* because I think it's one of the most musically/vocally *joyous* songs by them, or anyone else. Also it's partially about arriving in NYC (my hometown) maybe in their earlier years to play. The sound, and *the view*: Brooklyn Bridge (where you could *see fans high above* 😊 on the bridge's walkway) to my left, the band in the center, and going rightward The East River, and glittering island of Manhatranin Nov early darkness beyond it, with The Manhattan Bright far rightward. What a fantastic sight to go with this band, and their great music!
