I will only take a video at a concert, if I know that I am not obscuring people behind me - so front row with camera at chest height, or standing at a bar, or in a seated area.

This started off as a basic blues jam between two lead guitars. It was shit. I mean really bad. However, the last 30 seconds was good. So I left the recording for several months and went back to it. I started again, but took the last 30 seconds and worked backwards to create something heavy and new.

Based on a 23 year old demo (reorded on Tascam 4 track), this was re-recorded in June 2024. I wasn't sure about re-recording this song, I still love the original. It has a lullaby quality that I really dig. It's also so laid back. However, this version is faster and the guitar takes a back seat. Philip is one of if not the best blues guitarists of the current day! He speaks volumes of the greats. Hendrix, SRV, Alvin Lee, Robin Trower, Leslie West, etc, etc.. And more!!!

Outstandingly done , both Phillip & guys playing & the video work done capturing his epic playing. 👍👍 I still have the T-shirt from when he played in Southern California up at Julian Blues Festival ( sadly now defunct , as it was an annual event for almost 20 years) His likeness is on back of shirt , Strat over shoulder , walking alone down a dusty road. One of my Favorite players & shirts.
