magnificent piece of music !!!
Almost angelic in its make up, Glory to god in the highest for all the colors of nature itself 🌱🌹
❤
All those grey and bald heads in the audience, when they are dead this Music will be. The youngest generations of adults now will never find this before then and if they did, they will just think ;that's that racist white mens music, fuck that!".................................Amen
Exquisite performance
This is the music I imagine played as one makes the slow walk towards the gates of heaven, reflecting about the past life and as old relatives begin to appear in the horizon...
Kudos to the North East Wales Sinfonia for a superbly paced performance, bringing to life that spirit set down long ago by Jean Sibelius of his love of nature and his country far to the north.
❤
What a self indulgent piece of nonsense: a conductor for 10 string players? Do me a favour. At least one of them remembers to look at him flailing around during their performance.
It's weird hearing this with the melody. We play it on our school orchestra but since I play the bass I never really hear the melody
We also played it, I play Cello part.

Is this a good piece at all? I'm just asking, I'm curious about your opinions whether it's a good or a mediocre piece and please tell me why
It's kind of "divine". Can't explain otherwise. But of course it is very "Finnish" too.
A beautiful performance of this beautiful piece of Jean Sibelius! I created a ringtone of it! 🎶😉 th-cam.com/video/AKRcmoBf8wI/w-d-xo.html
Ontroerend mooie muziek.
A gorgeous piece of music, which I have heard here for the first time, Sibelius in sublime mood. Beautifully played by this small ensemble, and very well recorded too in a fine old building with great acoustics. Sibelius was a very good violinist and it shows. The unexpected percussion at the end came as a complete surprise. One of the many unexpected musical treasures that TH-cam now hosts and you can trip upon. Thank you for whoever posted this.
Our orchestra played this masterpiece many times . I never get tired of it. This is music from heaven. I love it so much.☀️☀️☀️🌻🌻🌻
The greatest song of all time.
Just heard the 1939 version and this though lovely seems a bit to fast.
In my opinion, it’s very difficult to nail the dynamic phrasing with the timing but wow. Just wow. Bravo.
WONDEEFUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLL!!!!
Played at Sibelius' tempo -(1939 recording of him conducting)
But that was much slower
@@kykykykykykyky3964 WAAAAAY Slower!
With that said - this is the tempo I perform this at
Heavenly Father, thank you for your beautiful creatures and many wonders of the world. Thank you for the Sun, for it provides warmth and light. Thank you for oxygen and water, for it creates life. Thank you for food, for it provides nourishment. Thank you for insects, for they are the helpers of the environment. Thank you for the plants, for they provide shelter, food, and oxygen. Thank you for animals, for they are majestic creatures and great companions. Thank you for Jesus, for he is the way of life. Thank you, Lord, for you are the provider of life. Amen.
Thank you for you

Wow. Wonderful beautiful prayer. Peace and Blessings from Mexico. All glory and honor to YHWH 🙏
This performance is amazing
Thank you!
Your welcome
Next play Sibelius in D minor
This is way faster than the original, but still beautiful ig
if you mean faster than Sib's 1939 yes it is but not as fast as some most recent covers.
Thank you!
Beautiful piece, played so well., by a small ensemble. Excellent! Thank you, all!
When you are out to dinner with a nice looking, pleasant date and you are wishing you were here with that other person, that's how I feel listening to this piece. I dream of Tchaikovsky and the miracle of his Serenade for Strings.
Thank you for sharing your dream!
I have to play part of this for my all county honor orchestra tryout
All the best👍
Wonderful piece by one of my favorite composers.....kept waiting for it to be RUINED by a loud and obnoxious commercial.
uBlock Origin. No more commercials.
To avoid ads, download Adblock, it is free, and works.
Great string playing which was obliterated by those damned timpanis
I can understand that guy... he sat there doing nothing for almost the whole duration of the piece, and at last he had his chance to play a couple of bars... of course he'd make an 'unforgettable' moment out of it !
Florin Chirila it’s mezzoforte not forte, he played it too loud
Sorry it’s ”poco forte” but played like fortissimo
I'd have loved to been there...magnificent
A short but beautiful piece of music very well played
Ikrrrrrrr
Superb! It was a pleasure to listen to Finnish citizens.
They are not Finnish
What was meant is it’s a pleasure for Finnish citizens to hear this wonderful music performed so well;the comment is from a Finnish person ( obvious from the name) and is a compliment.
Beautiful. Great tempo!
Exactly as it should be, expansive and evocative.
You make good music and have good promo-videos...but just 4 suscribers...What's wrong in this world?!
We are building!
