I understand it will be the nature of social media to keep attacking you based on what you already apologize for, and others might even question the sincerity of your apology, or the incompleteness of your apology. I say - separate the valid criticism from the negative rhetoric, and focus on yourself the way gym culture should be. The way I see it, you’re young and are capable of growing and improving yourself. At first I questioned whether you would double down based on the initial responses you gave (that Joey showed) and narcissistically claim you did nothing wrong. You didn’t do that. You apologized. That’s a good first step and I hope you don’t get discouraged from improving yourself.
