Dude that looks awesome inspires me to post what I make
Absolutely!! 👏 hit me up on Instagram and I’ll happily follow you! I love seeing people’s builds
Giving me inspiration in getting my Master Chief Suit sorted!
Awesome! I’m currently working on a second Spartan and have learned a lot, feel free to drop me a message on insta if you ever need any help with your chief:)
Apprently rubbing a real newpaper againt stormtrooper armor will give it a good worn out look for cheap.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll try that on the body armor :)
Nice work on the armor and the video!
Thank you! :)
It's been 3 months, how is your second suit of Spartan armor coming along?
Very well, I had taken a little break to make some other things and started Carter around 6 weeks ago (roughly). I've been mainly printing the DMR and finishing the Helmet - The Helmet is almost almost done and has had a lot of new things put into the build, and it will be a video on it's own to kick off the new series! :) I've been posting progress on my Instagram @DraconiumProps
Can we get the STL files?
The Helmet is from GalacticArmory and the Main Suit is from NerdForgeDesigns on CGTrader :)
Nice helmet nice result, but that design is not an original trilogy Stormtrooper helmet it looks more like a Rogue 1 based helmet / hasbro black series helmet Disney-fied design. The original trilogy screen used stormtrooper helmets were very asymmetrical and just weren't straight, plus the eye lenses are in fact green tinted, the blue tube stripes are not recessed cut into the plastic in the original Star Wars film they were hand painted on, and by the time The Empire Strikes Back and Jedi came along they were using stick on decals this also applies to the grey areas around the back of the helmet and below the eyes with the black vertical stripes no recessed ridges ( again that's a modern Rogue 1/ Disney invention) The black band above the eyes is supposed to be a piece of black rubber trim. The ears on the helmet are again Rogue 1/ hasbro era, not as on the original trilogy helmet. Both the black vocoder and aerators are nothing like the actual originals, and black trim at the bottom of the helmet isn't called a neck seal it's just rubber trim, a neck seal is a completely different item worn around the neck and part of the armour and suit as part of the costume. Checkout RS Propmasters they specialise in making stormtrooper helmets accurately as theirs are cast from an original screen used helmet.
Thanks for the info! I’ll check them up and brush up on my imperial terminology:)
@DraconiumProps OK glad to help out, it's like lot of things until you find out or someone tells you, etc. In the original Star Wars trilogy the original costumes / props were very wonky and most not straight at all on close inspection, for example I was given an original Empire Strikes Back screen used Hoth rebel rifle and blaster back in the 80s as my uncle and cousin both worked on the original films at Elstree studios, my guns were all over the place the gun barrel wasn't straight nor was rifle butt basically it didn't look great up close as it wasn't ment to be seen in close up as everything back in the 70s and 80s was sculpted and cast by hand, they didnt have computers to make things nice and symmetrical as they do now. you may or may not know there were two types of stormtrooper helmet in the original trilogy "Stunt" for more background type shots with a piece of green tinted film for eyes, with a wide grey teeth section, and "Hero" helmets worn by Luke and Han to be seen in close up shots that have nice plastic bubble lenses with a smaller the grey teeth area, thats much smaller than on the stunt helmet and painted with much more care for close up shots. All the best 👍
This is so underated!!!
Thank you so much :)
Absolutely incredible display!! Super well done! I love it Earned an immediate sub from me 😁
Thank you so much :) Plenty more to come!
Can you make a Warhammer 40k Lazegun? Cadia style!
We're taking a look! :) Thank you for the suggestion!
Just had this come across my feed, you guys did an excellent job despite the chaos and trails you went though. Wonderful work, keep it up!
Thank you! :) Next up is Carter! i'm hoping it can be a lot more streamline with the lessons learned from Emile!
What did you use for the lights?
Just standard 5V LEDs wired to a button and a USB power bank :)
Gotta love sanding always, sick build!
hard 💯
Hey do you know any people or websites that make custom armor or more specifically Halo armor and you could give them a design you want and then they make it?
Hey, are you talking about 3D files or a set of finished armor? :)
@@DraconiumProps a set of finished armor like the armor you guys made except of my own custom design and sorry it took me so long to reply
I don’t know if any specific websites, but I would look around for an experienced prop maker that does commissions and reach out to them :)
That's amazing, great work! I used a plastic welder to stick large pieces together. It melts a piece of wiggly wire into the plastic on the inside of the print and creates a strong bond. You could then go over the seam with your soldering iron.
Thank you! That’s the method I’m going to try on my own Spartan armor! Definitely the way to go
10:44 me when try go to the bathroom late at night without turning the lights on and tripping and bumping into everything on the way
Finally, a uk based cosplayer with top tier TH-cam cosplay videos
Thank you!! Hopefully you like our other videos :) With Plenty more to come!
Actual dynamite was nitroglycerine mixed with a clay mud to make it safer to handle than just liquid. This would be packed into stiff paper tubes and wrapped in brown paper to stop it falling out the ends, however the nitroglycerine could seep out over time leaving oily sweat marks on the tubes. If you wanted to make your dynamite look old and unsafe, paint it with some yellowish brown splodges over the tubes. If you are a rivet counter, don't do this for TNT, which is much more stable and didn't sweat (or do, and say the sticks were cheap and not actually TNT).
That’s a great tip! We may have to revisit this as a weathered prop using that technique
I wanted to do an Mjolnir Armor so badly but didn't know how. your video changhed that for sure
Glad it could help! If you need any questions answering please drop us a message either here or on instagram! :) we reply to them all and do our best to help!
Also… I’ll shortly be releasing a series of longer more detail videos making Spartan armor from scratch! So stay tuned for those coming soon :)
This is really cool! I might make one myself soon!!
Thanks dude! Be sure to send us any pictures if you do make one! :)
So cooooool! 💖
Thank you! 🫡
Nice job! I’ve been wanting to do this one or the Finn version so this gave me a little extra push
Thank you! :) They're definitely a lot of fun! I do have my eyes on a First Order Stormtrooper helmet eventually! You should definitely give it a go, would you be doing the red streaks from the opening scene? :)
I'm happy to hear some of the troubles with this process, especially the helmet as I also plan to make a spartan cosplay using the standard version of the Galactic Armory's Reach EVA.
Definitely, then you know what to expect! If I was to do this again (which I am) I would keep trying everything on over and over again and give yourself plenty of time and rest runs!
10:18 that really, REALLY hurt my entire ssoul
Me too dude... me too 😭
Very nice, very good and also very nice! All jokes aside, great video mate! Xx
Thank you dude!x
Great backing vocals. May Jack Karlson rest in peace.
Quality job and a great vid!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
tree supports in my prints leave the print much cleaner
Definitely, 95% of the time I go with tree. It has to be a very specific reason for normal at this point lol
@DraconiumProps the only reason I use normal is I know your not going to see where it's been and fir a speed print but trees ftw lol
awesome to see this in its final form after seeing it go from plastic to prop
It's a satisfying process isn't it!
But I asked you for a unicorn pink one???
That's scheduled for February 29th!

dope dude👍
Thank you!
what did you used for the visor?
Vacuum formed acrylic :)
great build one tip from a halo fan emiles armor is black not steel, silver, aluminum or what ever you used it might of just bin the camera but all in all its great
Thanks so much! It was painted in Silver, it was a personal request from Sam who the armor was for :) Almost like a custom coloured Emile!
@@DraconiumProps that makes sense now ok well great job
Thanks man!
Awesome build, I'm currently in the process of making my own Emile Armor and was curious what your print settings were as I also own an elegoo. Overall amazing armor!
Most of the printing was 4 walls, 15% Gyroid infill :) I’d likely go higher on parts with higher stress though, possibly 5-8 walls! Everything was .2 layer height also :) Thank you! I’d love to see your Emile progress
@@DraconiumProps what about supports especially for the helmet and chest pieces, I can't seem to get mine to stick to the build plate and stay strong enough for the the armor piece?
For supports I used 10% density at around 45 degrees :) mainly tree supports I wasn’t super concerned with saving material, but everything was supported nicely! I used brims and rafts sometimes too to help with adhesion :)
The masterchussy mousepad is on my list of things to get now
Looks comfy!😂
@@DraconiumProps what’s the website you got it from?
It's not mine, I just found the picture on Google!
@@DraconiumProps *RAAAAHH*
I just went threw all of this for my War Machine armor! so I feel this, DOWN TO MY SOUL!
It’s all worth it in the end they tell you!😂 I was just watching your Acolyte helmet build last night!
@@DraconiumProps For real? holy hell, that's what's up. thanks for all the support!
You too! I've been wanting to find room in the pipeline for one, an amazing job you did on it!
5:03 heh... heh-heh... Heh-heh-heh... HA! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! WOOOOOOOO! I'm in the middle of a 3d print my self for Momocon next year and BOY! I just need to go through 2 more stages and I am golden!
Nice! Which cosplay are you printing? But yeah... some parts... SOME. PARTS
@@DraconiumProps I am in the process of creating the Blue Centurion from Power Rangers Turbo. I have the parts printed out, but I'm trying to prep the parts for paint while the weather is still warm. I also need to create the resin parts for the lights. All of this is part of stage 1. Stage two will be focusing on the programming stage where the lights will run in a certain order using Arduino software and Arduino based hardware.
Sounds incredible! Huge Power Ranger fan myself so I’d love to see that! If you drop us an instagram DM id love to follow you and keep up to date with your build!
@@DraconiumProps Sure. I will be posting the process in about 2 days. I am planning on making the resin parts soon.
Looking forward to it!😁
Looks awesome Spartan and I felt the same pain trying to vacuum form by security helmet for the first time.
It’s a learning curve for sure, but definitely a good option! I’m going to be releasing a video in the next month or so comparing vacuum formed visors against resin visors :) Feel free to drop us a message on Instagram, I’d love to see how your security helmet turned out
Well done lads, welcome to Australia big Sam.
Thank you! 🫡
Fabulous ❤
Love this!
Thank you!
First view AND comment
I’m working on my halo Emile armour currently and damn I feel a lot of the pain you did while building it
It’s a difficult armor set for sure! But we learned a lot from it, drop us a message on Instagram if you have any questions :)
I like ball lol
badass armor! definitely gives me some inspiration
Thank you! There’s going to be plenty more builds and tutorials for people to follow along with themselves!
i have to subscribe for that. nice build. Is it possible to build vacume chamber on my own tho? also will oven be enaught to heat it up?
@@BMS_Private we are building stuff that will be affordable and effective for newer cosplayers and prop makers👌
A lot of people do use an oven for vacuum forming :) with my kit I got some heaters though
@@DraconiumProps o, thank you very much! Hope you hit many views.
how did i get this channel in my feed. anyways great job makes me want to get a 3d printer myself.
the aligorithm works in mysterious ways, still figuring it out myself! But happy to have you here! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked it :)
Laughed so hard at the breakage, ALL you had to do was get from one side to the other. Great comedy timing and love the movie clips and edit. Looking forward to the next one.
