The toilets are directly across the table where all the lights controls are. Its in the middel between all the rooms. Theres two of them. The showers are across the room on eather side of the table.

I'm not sure, I started going there after it was already closed. I think there is a call button in each cell room, so possibly that.

There was two of us there working. The states wants to keep it somewhat maintained. There are eight buildings and there's just two maintenance guys. One of the buildings is used for a couple offices and the other buildings are mostly storage and the occasional training for DCF and police.

I can’t claim to know exactly what this place is, but I “attended” an involuntary stay at a place very similar this about 30 years ago. It’s kinda like a juvenile hall, but most of the people I met in there were kids who’d attempted suicide and needed 24 hour care because they were also a danger to others, teens grown enough to need help in restraining, that kinda thing. But we were also in there with violent offenders too young to face a real prison sentence, so we shared the rooms with them. They were usually the cool ones, they all had a preconceived notion of unity, like we were all in this together. It was like, nah kid, you’re in here because you mugged some old lady, I’m in here because my parents fear for my wellbeing and they genuinely have no ideas left on how to help. I’m just some emo whiny kid, you’re a future felon. Of course I never said any of that to them, as that would have been stupid. Anyway, places like this generally do look and feel like a prison, an “institution” where your freedoms are taken, but from what I can gather they are way better than the alternatives - actual prison and adult sentencing.

It is a prison. It is for, I believe up to age 18. It was made in 2000 and closed in 2018. There is 3 buildings like this and 1 "specal needs" building that is more prison like with a center guard watch area. Each wing has a padded room. You basically need a key to get everywhere. The whole place is surrounded with a 10 foot curved fence. You need a key for every door. In the school building they have a dentist and barber next to the nurse. Each classroom has their own bathroom so the kids are never untended.

@@nevrsleep1 yep. The one room was very similar to a psych hold area. Same principle in keeping an eye on everyone.

I just used some broken cables I had and splicd them together with an adapter. I used a cable off a cheap TV antenna and spliced it to a RCA cable , then used a RCA to 3.5 mm jack adapter to the TV's antenna input. A more proper way to do this would be: A "F" connector (the screw on type) to RCA female adapter. A male RCA cabel (on both ends) Then a Female RCA to 3.5 mm headphone style connector (Mono) This portable TV used the headphone style connector for an external antenna which wasn't commonly used. Some models of this TV had a composite video in with a Mono sound input.

My Walmart didn't have anything either, the only good things from them is there lower prices on New Video games. They don't even have the bins of discount movies anymore. Big Lots is starting to stink as well but that will save me some money.

From a tag sale. I'm pretty sure they are mass-produced bootlegs. The picture quality looks like a VHS tape recorded on EP that was used several times.

This wave was bad here on the East coast too. Those 3 MGM were the only titles worth picking up. I might check one more store on the way home tomorrow but I'm not getting my hopes up. 9 times out of 10 my local Goodwills have something worth picking up. I recently checked out Hamilton Books website sense I've herd they have some of the same titles DT have that are more sought after.
