Hi, I am looking for a training plan I can use for a 50k marathon in Tunisia on 25.09.24. So far, I have been running a max of 10K... and I just have 3 months left!!! Any suggestions on how to adapt your training plan? Thks.

Hi. Going to do the Run The Berg 26km at the end of Sept. Hopefully your 21km training plan will get me through.

Hey man iv signed up for a 25km trail run in march, iv ran a little before but never over 5km. Do you think 16 weeks is enough time to train for the race?
Hi there, 16 weeks is more than enough time if you stick to it. I don't have a 25km plan but have a 21km - bit.ly/21kmtrailplan I would suggest using this plan and then redo the first 3 weeks so it gets you close to the 16weeks you have. I would also recommend increasing the last 3 weeks by 20% so you are ready for the 25km. Let us know how it goes
Thank you for this video. I'm aiming to run a 12km trail run with 750m of elevation. Training plan would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Sounds like a tough race, 750m elevation is no joke in such a short distance (lots of power hiking). I would recommend looking at the 10km in combination with the 21km plan (21km, look at elevation goals you should be achieving). Best is to do hill repeats and try to get on some trails that have solid elevation 10km - bit.ly/10kmtrailplan 21km - bit.ly/21kmtrailplan

I've just discovered your channel and really appreciate finally finding a trail specific plan that focuses on time on feet and incorporates strength / conditioning into the plan rather than trying to adapt a road plan and slotting S&C around it. I think this will work really well for me, thank you. Subbed!

Hi - is it possible to edit the plan to make it 16 weeks, not 12?
Hi Libby, great that you have a few extra weeks to train, my suggestion. If you are newish to running, then I would say the first 4 weeks of the plan - double up eg. Do week 1 twice, then Week 2 Twice etc. If you are running weekly I would suggest doubling from Week 4 eg. Week 4 twice, then Week 5 twice etc. Once you click on the training plan link, make a copy and you make edits to the plan. Let me know if you have any questions

@@TheAverageRunners Hi , thank you for the training program , unfortunately i could not practice enough in the past 6 weeks . My race is the 11 of november . That gives my about 6.5 weeks. Do you think i could follow your program and do every other week ? Your program starting with week 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 .
@@pierrevandermeulen2943 it's going to be a tough one but I am sure you can if you are currently running a little bit. The one thing you can not remove is the last two weeks, essentially you want to taper and reduce the load so you have fresh legs.
Thank you , will adjust accordingly. @@TheAverageRunners
Really excited to try this. Started running for the first time in my life in January, & I'm quickly becoming addicted. Going to attempt the DRJ 21km end April, so this plan is going to work perfectly! Thank you for sharing.

Hi there... doing the MUT 25k end of May. Please send suggested plan. Thanks so much.
Hi Hendri, sorry for the delay. I don't have a specific 25km, would recommend using the 21km and increasing your long run times by 20mins in the later weeks and increasing your elevation targets, looks like it's around 900m on the race so if you can do one test run close to 900m that would be best. Here is the 21km plan - bit.ly/21kmtrailplan
I am looking for a 17k training plan. Thanks a lot!
Hey, we don't have a 17km one but would recommend using the 21km - bit.ly/21kmtrailplan .
