Hello my gaming pc is 1440p, and streaming pc 1080p. But in my gaming pc i can only select 1080p in games. Why? I use hd60pro as capture card. Should i upgrade to 4k60 pro?

Just to Clear Things Up. There is nothing wrong with having OBS on your gaming PC, If you have a decent setup you can run it. However having OBS gives you privacy in how your applications are captured and shared through OBS. If you want to clone your desktop raw go ahead by all means do what is best for you. This method really helped me out and I still manage around 120-165 FPS with application selectively captured. I play at 2560x1440, 165Hz. GAMING PC SPECS- 5950x, 3090ti, 64gb Ram, RGB LIGHTING XD (for .0001 boost)

You don’t need the ElGato 4k utility installed on both pc’s ONLY ON 1 the streaming pc.

I do everything the same EXCEPT I do not run OBS on my gaming pc. Streaming PC picks up the display capture just fine with no tearing. 1440p 144hz gaming monitor cloned @ 1440p 144hz on 4K60Pro MK.2. Zero tearing.
