Thanks for this…there still isn’t much information/guidance as to how this is “properly” done, so seeing your method is very helpful!
Thanks, I’ve got a similar situation and this is great.
Good job 👍
capacitance in the switch wires effectively bridging the switch. Earthing it would be unlikely to tap off enough current to stop it. As to whether it's even a problem is debateable. In the bad old days (dimmer switches needing more of a load than LED lamps provide) the advice would be to run an incandescent lamp in parallel.
We call it 2 pole switch not 4 way switch
Hey - what were the symptoms you were dealing with?
Thank you for taking the time to make the video. This is exactly the issue i was having with my os23
Thanks for the info big help
Iv got a Hudson Sawyer it's a small mill an it cut well an true but it's not set up like the mill n ur video I'm having trouble with the belt rolling over. Iv watch ur video 2 times an its help me get the little Hudson back sawing again it's took a belt or two but iv got it now thanks for the info big help
Glad my info was able to help. Thanks for the comment.
Great help. Just used your methods on my doublewide.
Happy it helped. Thank you for the comment.

very smart, carpenters are getting lazy with these cranes haha
Thank you fixed my tractor
Thanks, I needed this information for tomorrow’s project.
I wonder if a seed sprouted on the bark of the maple and the roots grew into the bark? I can’t think of any other way they would fuse. Thanks for sharing
Very helpful thank you I have a shallow ridge cap might be tougher
JFC, so simple and I didn't even think of it. Thanks!
I've got the same mill. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks! Helpful!
Im about to graft a tri color beech tree onto a maple tree, but when or how do i or what do i do to make it become another tri color beech tree for the most part??? I suppose after the graft “takes” and it starts to sprout new branches of its own then top off the maple tree part shorter than the added on new tree ?? It’s obvious no one wants you to do this at home ,They want you to buy another tree , Because there’s no information on How to grow another tricolor Beach ANYWHERE!!! They do say you cant “root” cutoff branches & THATS sO true ! So they say you must grow them from the seeds however NOPE it wont really grow into a tri color beech they say, so???
You did a really good job on that, if it ever developed a leak I'd be shocked
Appreciate the comment and compliment.
This video was very helpful! Thank you for posting!
Thanks for the comment.
Kook thanks for the video I appreciate it. Is their a easier way instead of buying the relay?
No. Both the hot and common wires need to be disconnected from the light in order for this to work. Sometimes hot and common wires do not pass by the light switch. In this case the only other way to do this is with a relay in the light fixture.
Hell yeah man booga booga man!!! Thank you
Thank you for the comment. If per chance you don't have both the hot and common wire at the switch you can also put a relay in the light fixture itself to break both the hot and common wire. My other video shows that.
@@satreguitars7946 Which video is that. I have a light at my clients house which is a led and the switch is off but the led s are dimmed . This means their is a open source. So if I put in a relay it will fix the dim problem?
In my house the switch tipically would have only the hot wire running through.. Going to take a little time but may worth the effort
Watch my other video with the ceiling fan. I install a relay to break both the hot and common in the light fixture. So if you have room for a small relay in the fixture itself, that is a possibility.
I need to try this. I'm on my third water dispenser bc of this problem.
Very good vid. To the point and professional. Thank you.
Thank you for the compliment.
Man, you did a better job on the ridge cap tee than the "professional" roofers I hired to do mine the other day. They are going to redo it on Monday because I will not let them get away with caulking a 3 inch gap instead of doing it right...like you did
Thank you for the compliment!
love your work
Thank you
Very good work
Thank you very much!

Duck Duck Go sent me here when I looked up a similar problem. I am an apprentice electrician and I am trying to find out why my brand new battery powered work light glows when it is turned off. I found this quite informative, but I don't know if this will be the solution for my light. Thanks though, it was enlightening. (Edit: I also watched your other video. Nice solution.)
Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure why your battery powered work light is glowing when turned off. Sorry I can't help with that.
I'm having the same problem. What do you do if the water bottle is still over half full, but collapsing? I've tried lifting the bottle, but it's being held in by the same vacuum that is collapsing the bottle. I hate to ruin the bottle by drilling a hole in the top, but unless you have a different solution, that is probably what I will have to do. At least now, once I get the bottle off, I'll know how to clean out the air vent--thank you.
You'll need to empty the bottle. Get some pitchers to empty the water into. If the water won't drain because of the vacuum created by the collapsed bottle, you can puncture the blastic bottle with an awl or something sharp. Once the water is removed you can take the dispenser apart and clean the vacuum relief valve.
@@satreguitars7946 Yes, I ended up drilling a hole to release the vacuum. I was hoping someone would have some ingenious hack, but guess not. At least I know what to do next, so thank you for that. .
excellent
You know, I have been scratching my head about this for months, then I watch your video, and it's like slapping the side of my head. 4 way switch,,,,,,, brilliant. I will get one and install it. Thank you so much.
Glad I could help. Thanks for the comment. If that doesn't work for your light, I have another video on installing a relay to break the hot and common wire inside the light fixture..
my glow shuts off with the switch, but stays on with the remote on off
You may need to have a relay installed in the light fixture. Watch my other video.
Sorry sir. I cant read electric diagrams. Do you have simple demos for dummies? Tnx.
I have the same glowing issue. And The white color led strip went out twice when lighting struck.
What a unique cut-a-way :))
Thank you Matt! I liked it a lot too.
If this doesn't work for you, check out my other video on same topic using a relay
Thanks
Your very welcome. Thanks for the comment.
Sometimes as the belt ages, it wears in a way that makes it easier to twist or even gets a twist in it. If the belt continues to twist put a new belt on.
I do a little picking on the flattop bluegrass mostly iv got 10 old 6 strings an a 12 string id love to check out sum of ur work would you send me sum info plz thank you very much
@@RockyDurham-tn4ln Currently and for the last 3 years, I have been building a timber frame house. I have been too busy to build any guitars. After I finish, I hope to resume guitar building but I don't have a time frame for that.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm having same issue with my Kubota zero turn and I'm hoping it's just the fuel filter but if that doesn't fix it now I know where to look next. Anything to prevent having to take it to the dealer especially because it's mowing season.
Thanks for your comment.
Looks like beach leaves. Possibly a squirrel stuck a beach nut into a hole in the maple tree. Too bad you didn’t look at the bark.
Yes you are right it is a beach tree.
Thanks for this video. I’m having the same problem right now. Just changed both fuel filters, didn’t fix the problem. Not too long before this problem started, I accidentally left the fuel cap off after refueling once & mowed some grass before realizing the cap was off. I must’ve gotten debris into the tank & there’s a clog in there. 🤦🏻♀️ Well, at least I know what it probably is now...👍
