Have you considered doing book reviews? I would definitely tune in to hear you talk about different stories you enjoyed (or didnt enjoy) and more reading would only help you on your writing journey. I loooove short stories, but one problem is that alot are so obscure that it's hard to find people that know about it or talked about it. Anyways really enjoyed your talk and please let me know if you want some book or short story recommendations. Keep writing!!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊 I haven't considered book reviews actually...but, perhaps I will from now on when I get my hands on a book I really enjoy. One comes to mind...Alice in wonderland ;) I started reading the classic book with the illustrations and it's just been amazing. I'm reading out loud, and I may have discover a new opportunity there...stay tune on that ;) by the way, I believe it is in the obscure where most of the realness happens, not referring to gore but the obscure where you don't even need to translate it into physical aspects of it, if that makes sense. And yes, I would love to hear some recommendations ;)

Omg thanks for the reply! The classics are always a safe choice and can't go wrong with Alice in Wonderland. "the obscure where you don't even need to translate it into physical aspects of it" i think I know what you mean here if it's like reading between the lines? See that's what i mean about how you're good at putting things a certain way. That's why I think it would be nice to hear you review stories or i can't speak for everyone but me personally I would like it. But anyway, i have three recommendations. The first is The Off-Season: An Anthology of Coastal New Weird. This one has some of the craziest stories and i can't stop thinking about it! It does get pretty weird but also that's what makes it so different. Then there's Spawn: Weird Horror Tales About Pregnancy, Birth and Babies. That one is exactly how it sounds lol so i can't say more about that one. This next one is more normal ig, Winter in the City: A Collection of Dark Speculative Fiction. This one is like........each story is for a different city but it's all during wintertime. So it's fun seeing these different authors can take you to so many different places while being limited to just winter. I can't really describe it in a good way but i know you get it because you're a writer lol. Thanks for listening to me blab on nd on.

@@Trailewy yes, definitively, Alice is just one of those you have to read, it is a classic for a reason. I also thought it was kind of obscure by the way, including the illustrations, but in this case it would be like I said before without the physical aspect of it. And yeah, I guess it is reading between the lines, but I also feel it goes beyond that, because not everyone will be able to read between the lines in the way the author intends it, unless they make it quite direct and obvious (I think it would be a bore read then). I would say more like when the author has a meaning behind "the lines" but also gives the reader the chance to decipher the text through their own unique perspective. I think that's obscure. Anyways, thanks for the recommendations! They all sound interesting. For the first one, the title "An Anthology of Coastal New Weird" just made me go like what haha got me curious to know wth it means, the second one I'm not sure I would read, but your comment made me laugh so I might just try it, and the third one feels more philosophical, which I enjoy to read. I'm not sure if the authors are going for this, but it would be interesting to read about the different societal behaviour between the cities, so kind of going into psychology, which is my cup of tea as well :)

Your responses are so well thought out and beautiful (or maybe its really just your mind that is). You actually tried to break down that abstract concept to some rando in the comments and i really appreciate that, even if alot just goes over my head sorry! But I'm happy to know some of the recs were on point! And also happy to know that you seem to be doin well in general. Hope you can get a huge audience someday soon to appreciate all of your insights and just the way you talk and vibe. Also Happy Holidays Wendy!!

ARE "YOU" YOUR THOUGHTS OR ARE THOUGHTS MOVING IN AWARENESS ITSELF. AM I EACH THOUGHT. IM ABLE TO GET CAUGHT IN WATEVER STORY IS PRESENT AND ABLE TO PULL AWAY USING PURE AWARENESS.
