I've been thinking that this is a great way to handle the Bravery Soul's boss. Imagine the opponent guards every attack you do and never loses their focus. You need to let yourself get hit with an attack and, with perfect timing, press Z to counter it. This does very small damage, but more importantly, it makes the boss distracted, allowing you to sneak in actually effective damage (FIGHT method) or acts that contribute to the MERCY bar (spare method.)
