Royal Palace of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum - Phnom Penh
In this video we venture into the centre of Phnom Penh for the first time. We visit the Royal Palace and see some colourful bodyguard uniforms, and also the colours that the ladies wear on different days of the week. We touch our feet on the tiles of the Silver Pagoda (although not on camera as that is prohibited) and then walk to the National Museum where we see a really big lizard.

Our Siem Reap hotel, Heritage Suites, referenced in the video is: heritage...

มุมมอง 188วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video we visit six temples at Angkor! 1. We start the day by visiting Angkor Wat, as in our previous Angkor video we couldn't go inside as it was a Buddhist holy day. 2. The it's off to Pre Rup, where we climb to the top of the steps. 3. We stop at East Mebon and try some Palm Sugar juice, and some Palm fruit, before going to find the Elephant Statues. 4. We see the smiling faces at Ta ...
AMAZING feats of skill at Phare Circus, Siem Reap
มุมมอง 24221 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video we see death defying stunts, eat some crazy good food (the children adored the chicken skewers) all washed down with some 241 cocktails. All in all the Phare Cambodian Circus is a thoroughly enjoyable evening that I would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Siem Reap. To find out more about the Phare Circus, including their crazy World Record, check out the link below: pharecircus...
The unexpected Heros in Cambodia
มุมมอง 5128 วันที่ผ่านมา
Did you know that the Americans dropped over 26million bombs on Cambodia when the USA was at war with Vietnam? Did you also know that Cambodia is one of the most land-mined countries in the world? The amazing Hero Rats of the APOPO visitors centre are truly amazing. These rats are trained to identify landmines and unexploded bombs to aid in the clearance of these bombs and landmines and saves t...

First we visit Banteay Srei, the Lady Temple, followed by Beng Mealea, a temple which is still rather entwined in the jungle. Sending love from Native Khmer in VN, Vietnamese Khmer origin ^^
Thank you ☺️🙏 Vietnam is still on our list, hopefully we will get there soon!
How interesting!
Thank you 🙏
Nice
Thank you ☺️🙏
Beautiful temple with nature surrounded, wow 😍
It is absolutely stunning 😍 we had 4 or 5 days in the archeological park and feel like we barely scratched the surface as well!
Wow after watching this video, i really appreciate 🥰and thanks you so much for choosing Cambodia 🇰🇭 as your first holiday destination 🙏🏻🙏🏻✨. I really appreciate and admire for your 30 hours to get to final destination 🫶 and now I'm your new subscriber !!🎉 Hope you and your family have a great time and many unforgettable memories here in Cambodia and along your journey. Love you ✨❤️
Thank you very much for your kind words. We loved Cambodia and will no doubt be back in the coming years. Next time maybe not in the hot season though 😂
@@WorldBeyondtheWall that's right 😁, maybe you should come to see Equinox event, natural spectacle, takes place during on September 21-23 each year, to witness the sun's rays in perfect vertical alignment with the temple, a marvel of both cosmic phenomena and architectural intent. ❤️✨
@Rith1221 I would love to, but that is during school time sadly for the little ones. We just missed the Spring equinox by a week or so when we were there which is a shame
One of the most amazing places on this planet. I think videos and photos never does it justice. You just have to see it in person. ❤ I hope you all enjoyed tour trip.
It is! Of all the places we've been to so far I think Cambodia has been our favourite. So much left to see as well so will have to return at some point ☺️
How cute are the kids at the end!
They can be when they want to be ☺️
I hadn't realised there were so many different temples! In UK, unless you research more, you just think of the big Angkor Wat temple and the Tomb Raider one...
I expected Ta Prohm to be my favourite from what I saw before I came out. I admit I didn't even know the likes of these ones were there till we started talking with your guides. Turns out Beng Mealea was my favourite and I didn't know about that one until I was already in Cambodia 🫣
Thanks for sharing ❤
We loved these temples so much! They were our favourites. Cambodia is such a beautiful country, we are sure to be back! 😊🙏
❤❤❤
😊🙏
Family fun circus
It was very fun indeed 😊
The kids are brave, I'm sure will ve grown into a amrt and confident adult.
They are 😊 they really wanted to try the insects. I know they are probably more of a tourist gimmick these days, but the kids absolutely loved it!
Nice to see the kids are having fun.
Thank you, it was great to visit, I think a lot of the adults had just as much fun as the children as well ☺️
Love your video. The kids are lovely. Looking forward to your next videos and series, i will use your videos as my reference for my next holiday destination. From your 45th subscriber 😅. Love from Cambodia.
Thank you so much! 😊🙏 There is so much to see and do! We feel like we will need to go back at some point to see more, although next time maybe not in the hot season 🫣
Wow 😮
It's such a beautiful place ☺️ I don't think we even really scratched the surface of the archeological park even after going back a few times!
Nice! Beautiful family. The food looks good.
Thank you very much, it was delicious 😋
Amazing dancing from the young ones!
It was! They were great 😁
The food looks fab!
It really was, and we weren't expecting it! It was really tasty and good value as well. I guess we are too used to places in the UK not putting as much effort in as they did here at Phare!
I appreciate all the information - valuable to someone who will be visiting Cambodia soon. Thank you.
Thank you, it is a beautiful country with so much to see, glad our videos can help ☺️
Amazing!
They are! And very cute too! ☺️
They're huge!
That's what she said... 🫣 but in all seriousness, they are, the rats aren't just your average rat you'd see in an alleyway
Fascinating!
It is, I wouldn't have expected so many lives to be saved all around the world by rats!
Cambodia khmer ancient temples are truly splendidly and wondrously humans creations heavenly on earth for God to protect humanity here as beautifully as heavenly.....many more Cambodia khmer ancient temples in Thailand or Siam Laos Vietnam where Cambodia khmer empire were there back then all the way to Burma border what is now Myanmar
They are so beautiful! 😍 Some of them are truly wonders! We learned from our guide, and from the National Museum how big the Khmer Empire once was as well. We new it had once gone beyond the borders of Cambodia, but hadn't realised by how far!
When Southeast Asians trick foreigners into paying them for the 'opportunity' to eat bugs for the amusement of the locals.
I was in Thailand for 2 months and not once did I see a local eat that shot 😂😂😂
Nice ❤
Thank you 😊👍
🙏 APOPO is definitely worth a visit 🐀
We loved APOPO, especially the kids! It's next week's video 😊
So beautiful! The stone there are difference from Angkor Wat.
It is beautiful 😊 these were our favourites from Cambodia
That tarantula!!!!
Tasty 😋
Yeah, there are more beautiful temples near Ankor Wat.
There are beautiful temples all over the archeological park area, these were just by far our favourites 😊👍

Thank you, we loved Cambodia too! We feel like we still have so much to see there, so hopefully we will make it back sometime soon! 😊
Nice video ❤
Thank you very much 😊🙏
I can’t imagine how beautiful Angkor wat would be if they were built with same stone as Bonteay sreay it absolutely beautiful
It would be truly stunning! It's still an amazingly beautiful temple anyway, but these two were my favourites from our trip 😉
In our next video we try eating Tarantula, Scorpion, Snake and Crickets. Link below: th-cam.com/video/eDGcnQ7aL1U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Y_QoRZ9n9jrMY5xr Thank you for watching!

It might be underrated for foreigners, but it's definitely not underrated among Cambodians. It's considered as the most beautiful, intricate, and well-maintained little temple in Cambodia.
Honestly, after visiting some of the beautiful temples like this that are a bit quieter, I don't know how people do the 1-3 day pass. It's just not enough time to appreciate the history and beauty of the region! We had a 7 day pass and left feeling like we still had so much more to see!
Gkgkgk😅
Amazing 😍
Thank you 😊 it's definitely a trip our little ones won't be forgetting any time soon!
Lovely to see that they are trying to undo some of the issues with elephant riding
Definitely, it's a good project. It's nice to see initiatives like this being done so ethically, without chains and cages. 100% recommend to anyone visiting Cambodia, especially if it's with children
Amazing 😍
Bet the waterfall is really impressive after the rainy season!
We were there in the dry season so I can only imagine!
Truly Beautiful
The whole site is amazing, I've never known temples like it. I think I could lose months exploring it all, given half a chance!
How did the kids actually find the early morning start? Not sure mine would survive?!
Fine with the early morning start, what they struggled with was standing at the waterfront for so long for sunrise because of how small their bladders are 😂
Not sure my kids could manage that long!
I had intended to do tips for helping with that at Dubai so that there were three sets of travel tips, one at each airport, but I was so tired by then I completely forgot! Maybe a video for a later date!
I love Business Class!
One of life's greatest luxuries for us. Got to spoil yourself when you can ☺️
