I always loved the song in game because it has such a whimsical feel. Now hearing the arrangement on piano unlocks a whole new depth (pun intended) to the song and the musical genius of Koji Kondo. You'd expect such an orchestral sounding arrangement from the likes of Nobuo Uematsu in an FF game, but Kondo was definitely a heavy hitter in his own right (although probably more well recognized for his work on Ocarina of Time and rightfully so). Thank you for this. You covered a masterpiece and your skills are truly incredible.

I love piano, got all the Lang Lang and (please don't laugh) Richard Clyderman albums..But this song is a violin and chello song..The longing sound of the violin breaking through the silence of thought cannot be replaced by a piano.

The older I get, the more often I realize that Koji Kondo might just be the greatest composer of all time. Certainly when it comes to video game music, he's got to weigh heavily in the discussion.

The beauty of the original composition is in its simplicity and calmness. I'm getting the sense you're trying to one-up the composer, rather than paying homage.
